mk915: This product makes waxing a car easier especially paste waxes. The only downside is that I was expecting the wool to be a little thicker but in general it does the job (about 90% of the effort). However, to fully remove the wax, the waxed surface must be buffed very lightly with a soft cloth. When stopping the drill, the buffing pads have a tendency to fly off of the drill. In order to avoid this, the user must take care to either stop the drill gradually or stop the drill before lifting the buffing pad off of the surface being waxed. Getting the hang of this is very easy.

robby hughes: These are about 85-90% as effective and durable as the ones you pay about $15 each for. When it gums up hit it with the hose or rinse it in the sink and it's good and ready for more abuse. They don't shed an unreasonable amount on the first use. The main complaint I saw here is the velcro pad spinning off the spindle.... I used a pair of pliers and I've tried to get it to come off. I suggest tightening it with a wrench or pliers if you don't want to play Frisbee with yourself. It has 2 flat sides to tighten it with. I'll probably order these several more times... they're great for compounding & buffing even on heavily damaged finishes.
