Silvia Martinez: El aparato corta bastante bien las rodajas y parece material de calidad, pero le veo dos pegas: 1) al cortar el huevo por segunda vez para ponerlo en cubos, la zona más cerca al borde no queda bien, sino que se machaca y luego tienes que sacar los trocitos que se quedan pegados a los hilos o al plástico del borde (con otros cortadores más baratos no me pasa eso). 2) Tiene una pieza para cortar en gajos y debajo la de cortar en rodajas, pero la primera no se puede extraer, de modo que cuando cortas en rodajas siempre queda debajo la otra y no se puede quitar, así que también la tienes que limpiar aunque no la hayas usado. Sería mejor que esa pieza se pudiera desmontar si no la usas.

Serena: This slices eggs just fine. I wasn't looking for an egg slicer that I can hand down to my great, great grandchildren. I have one of those. It's fine with me when I go if those left behind sell this one at a yard sale.

Great at slicing eggs although the egg can't be rotated easily to slice the other way, but it can be done. I just did it making a six egg egg salad.

I agree with the person who said it would be nice if it came with a cleaning brush. It can take awhile to get egg out of nooks and crannies.

I can't see using it for vegetables and fruit. I think it would be faster to cut those things with a knife.

Wildflower80: I love that I get both cuts in 1 neat pc. Great in concept, but lacking in design. The grooves are not deep enough or cradle is not high enough. Because of the 2 plates, the top plate (slicer) does not slice all the way through.

Natalie Ace-Galvan: This is a very sturdy piece. I like how you can slice eggs or even strawberries! I usually make a mess when I try to cut my hard boiled eggs, but this truly made it easy. Now even only I could consistently get the shells off with no problems. It is very easy to clean and maintain. No complaints!

Brandy M: wow, this thing is AWESOME! I ordered this so my husband can easily cut up eggs for his salad, etc. I also had a friend show me how genius and easy it is to cut eggs for egg salad, etc. I am really impressed with how heavy this thing is. The materials are really thick and nice, and it still maintains a nice low profile so it can be easily tossed into a drawer and tucked away. The wires are nice and sharp, and the plastic piece easily cradles the egg so it doesn't roll all over. All in all great egg slicer. Simple, but high quality product!
