Jeff C.: Purchased this queen size mattress from Sweetnight almost 2 weeks ago. It came in a box and rolled in airtight plastic wrapping. It was convenient being rolled up, I pulled it out of the box and was able to get it upstairs in the roll while it was still rolled in the plastic wrapping. I removed the first plastic wrapping which unfolds the bed. It came with a tool to cut the secondary plastic, which was wrapped protecting the bed. There’s also a manual with instructions to open the mattress and cleaning and care steps. After I removed the secondary wrapping I gave it a few hours to fully form itself.

Sleeping on this mattress a few days and I am very satisfied with my purchase. For me the bed feels pretty firm and comfortable, to what I was looking for and my sleeping needs. I’ve slept on my back and side through the past nights with no trouble or waking to feel I have to adjust my posture laying. There’s a soft gel top which keeps the bed feeling cool and not hot through the night. I also use Egyptian cotton blankets and the gel top increases the coolness through the sheets. Overall, after close to 2 weeks, this mattress is perfect and fits perfectly to my needs....

doctur44: Mattress came in a box, was heavy, so helpful to have two people to move it inside/ to desired room, but could probably manage with just one person. Definitely bring it to the room you want it in right away! you can take off the cardboard box first (we didn't since I was worried about it jack-in-the boxing, but the plastic wrap has it secured in the rolled up position, so no worries if you don't want that dirty packaging in your bedroom. Once you have it in desired place, you can use the included plastic cutting device to slice open plastic (we didn't see it til after and just used scissors). There are two steps to cut, the first just unfurls it from a tube position (but still vacuum sealed), then the second step/ cut releases the mattress fully and it starts to enlarge (slowly- so my fears of being flung across the room were completely unfounded). Seemed to be in its full size in under 5 minutes, but we gave it two hours (would have done longer, but didn't get delivered until 8:30pm) to breath and take shape anyways before sleeping on it.

The important part is that this bed immediately supported my back in a way our previous older memory foam mattress no longer did, and it...

R-nieR-nie: I've bought 2 different brands of mattress in a box from Amazon the last several years and it has always been the same, eventually it sags. Finally, i bit the bullet and got myself a hybrid mattress to help with adding support.

PROS:
First thing i noticed with this mattress when i opened it was the lack of smell. I've bought multiple foam mattresses in the past for myself and other family members and there was always a strong plastic smell. There was barely a noticable smell when i had this mattress unpacked. I left it over night to air out and by morning, i couldn't smell anything. This is a huge plus considering it was a problem with other mattress in a box.

The main thing i bought this for was the additional support the coils provide. With foam mattresses, you tend to sink in and when you sit on the edge of the bed, you slide off. This hybrid mattress fixes that. No sliding or sinking, it performs kinda like a regular mattress. The euro pillow top is nice and soft and with the combination of the coils, it gives you a nice bounce and support. I tend to like a firmer bed but this is a nice balance with being plush and medium in firmness.
