Chris m.Chris m.: First off, let's get the bad out of the way & why I don't give it 5 stars. The box came completely smashed (Not the sellers fault I imagine), but, secondly, & what is an issue with thw seller/manufacture, is that on the front fork where the axle slots in it was too small for the axle on one side. So I had to use the dremel on that too widen it. No biggie for me, but for someone without the tools I have, they wouldn't have been able to assemble the front tire. Not even with hammering would it have fit. Not close. It either got bend in (unlikely as the fromt part of the box wasn't damaged) or, & what seems more likely, is that is just happened to be poorly machined fork. Only thing wrong with it that I can't currently fix, is the derailer. It seems to have maybe got damaged when the box did, because it won't shift all the way up into 1st gear. Otherwise, it shifts fine & pretty smoothly. It may just need some adjustment, so I'll have to research how & tinker with it.
Edit: the derailleur was indeed damaged in shipping, but I was able to make adjustment & now have it shifting properly throughout all gears.

I've ridden it everyday on my 5 mile commute since I got it. It's been 1 week so I'll do a review now and update it as time goes on. While I haven't ridden any other ebikes, so I have nothing to compare this to, I'll explain all the things I like and dislike about it.
First of all, I didn't think this would be one of the more cheaper options, but it was the cheapest electric fat bike on Amazon at $699.99 (+tax) at the time of buying. Got here in 2 days which was super convenient.
Assembly was pretty easy and straight forward, barely needed the instructions.
I'm a pretty short guy, 5'5, so the size is perfect for me. As some other reviews mentioned, if you're tall, it might be too small for you.
I got this bike because I needed a commuter bike. I live in Michigan, so with the snow and ice, the fat tires were a necessity. It's currently close to the end of winter so it's still pretty slushy with some patches of ice. Riding through up to 5 inches of snow and ice is slow going, but manageable.
