Carrie: This was ideal for an older friend during a long term hospital stay. The information is tailored to that situation or for anyone who may struggle with keeping track of the day and date. My only, minor complaint is that the power cord is too short for a lot of hospital rooms with limited outlets. We struggled to find an outlet close enough to the bed for the clock to be visible.

Twinkle: I got it for my mother who is seeing impaired, but she can only see it until 7 pm. It dims so much it is extremely hard to see. I wish it was a feature to not dim if we don’t want it to. Otherwise it is awesome!

Carla Kooij: My mom said it was the most thoughtful gift she ever had. She had trouble knowing what day it is now and so I Googled clocks with the date and time. She absolutely LOVED this clock. I put it right across from where she sits a lot (and sleeps) in her lazy boy chair and she loves how she always knows what day it is, whether it is morning, afternoon, or evening, and how bright it glows in the dark so she won't trip when she goes to the bathroom. This is the perfect gift for your elderly parent! Thank you Amazon for selling this here!! If I could give this clock 10 stars, I would! I might add that the alarm clock would be too tricky for her so still need to find her a super easy alarm clock, but this one came on with the correct time as soon as I plugged it in but it does have an Easy to Follow Guide if you want to change alarms or settings. (Just not easy for someone that is almost 97 years old.) S
