There were somebody’s fingerprints on the book. I didn’t expect to receive an open package for a full price and feel ripped off and disappointed.

Keturah Wasler: I have this set and had it for over 10 years but couldnt find them. I dont read obsessively I tried that when I started reading and it was not healthy; I stopped.

When I have a confusion that I'd like insight on I use these and a deck that I've drawn myself. when I couldn't find these I bought another deck.
there is a lore about that but I'm not getting into that right now

i've been reading for a long time. these are the best cards for seeing into personal life - if you've not drawn your own.

My issue was about my transportation ( i was considering 2 good vehicles)- after unifying with the cards to make them talk to me in a way I'd understand - then in simply shuffling the the horse fell from the deck within 3 seconds a person walked by and said get the cheapest. I said pardon and he said it's something my father always said. for what I was looking at it was sound advice.

I love these cards - although they are mass produced - if you know to unlock the static - they get chatty real fast and have not lied to me yet.

Shannon H.: After reading the countless reviews on the extremely poor quality of the cards, I decided to check out the ‘Used’ editions, on Amazon

I found one listed in ‘Very Good’ condition, that stated all of the cards were included and intact

I bought that one, instead of a new one, knowing the cards would be of the previous quality, the older editions embodied

It actually arrived in ‘New’ condition-pristine all around-probably never even been used, as the binding was still tight on the book and felt like I had opened it for the first time!

The cards aren’t as substantial as most of my tarot decks, but definitely not flimsy paper, as virtually all reviewers are complaining about with the ‘New’ editions; however they are stiff cardboard cards and will shuffle well with no worry of damage or wear

The cards are the main attraction, so I don’t understand why they would be so cheapened down, to the point of being just about useless !!

Shame on the publishers !!

If you wanted to save a buck-you should have cheapened down the packaging!!

My family is from Poland and when I was a child I went to another Polish friends house and her mom had cards very similar to these and I remember being fascinated by them when she was laying them out. This gypsy fortune telling technique comes from Russian folklore, and so it is commonly used in Eastern European cultures. I feel very drawn to them given my cultural background. The guide book has all the information needed to understand and use this method of divination. The author clearly knows a lot about Russian gypsy fortune telling and explains it well in the book. She gives a very detailed step by step guide to reading a fortune. The meanings of all the pictures are well explained, with four separate meanings provided for each direction the picture appears rotated.

The one flaw about these cards is the card stock. It is quite thin and flimsy compared to all the other cards I’ve ever used and it appears to be one of those sets that was ripped apart from one giant cardboard sheet into separate cards because the cards have little paper ends sticking out of their edges where you can tell they were ripped one from the other. Amazon Customer: This is my new best favourite divination deck. And it's Canadian!

I purchased this after my sister-in-law gave me the cards. She'd lost the book along the way, and didn't feel drawn to the cards herself. I immediately fell in love with the pictures, and the accents, even not knowing how to use them. I tried finding information online, and eventually had to purchase the book and a 2nd set of cards. SO HAPPY I DID!

They arrived on Family Day, appropriate, as these cards are great as a social event. The book is very informative on the history of this style of card reading, and personal story of how the cards came to the family of the woman who published these. A very old tradition, and I'm thrilled to carry it on in a new country.

Once I learned to do the readings properly, including the correct shuffling method, the readings became much more accurate. This is not a deck to use for one-card draws, or to do alternate reading styles with. When used in the way recommended in the book, they are correct so far in every communication, and encourage the quirent to find a positive solution and perspective, even when telling of difficult situations. M. M.: Like many divination card lovers, I own multiples of different card decks - tarot, rune, oracle, fairy, Lenormand, etc. If you are familiar to those cards, you would notice that each deck has its character/strong points - some of those are more objective, some of those are psychological, and so on. And each of them are more or less accurate on their own accord, depending on the type of the questions you ask and the answers/advices you are seeking.
In my opinion, this Russian Gypsy Fortune telling cards are darn good at forecasting events (i.e. fortune telling) as well as giving down-to-earth advices. Accuracy comes without saying, and this seem to be true for whether its a long-term forecasting (like month, year, etc) or short-term advice (e.g. questions like "what should I know about the coming important meeting?").

I have used this card in both ways, short and long-terms, and either ways it gives very useful advices as well as the accurate predictions of events that might come up. The advices are, as said before, very grounded so that instead of messages like "Trust your intuition" or "Divine force will guide you", it would say something like "It is up to you to make...
