Drews account: So my older tween kids wanted cool BMX seats like they see cool kids have at tracks and parks. They are usually short, stubby black seats. But they can cost $40 dollars. So I tried this. Most bmx kids don't sit often so they don't need a super comfortable seat. I think it look just like the cool bmx seats kids have. I sat on it and couldn't stand it. Super uncomfortable. But that's what you get when you are a 165lb adult sitting on a cheap kids seat. If you are looking for a cheap BMX seat to satisfy a teen I would recommend this one.

Dan Hoekstra: I bought this for a Specialized HotRock 20" bike for my daughter. It's a close match to Krylon ColorMaster Paint+Primer spray paint in "Gloss Gum Drop" that I bought from the Walmart paint department in order to paint the handlebars, chain guard, and a few other spots to match the seat. Since the seat and painted metal parts are different materials, it isn't an "exact" match, but close enough to satisfy myself and my daughter. It bolted on easily and securely, and was a nice finishing touch for a girl's bike. Hoping it keeps the neighborhood boys from wanting to steal or borrow my daughter's bike now!

Obi Wan: I needed to replace a busted up seat on an old kids' bike for use with a new kid.

This is a direct match for the original. The build quality doesn't appear to have changed in the 4 years since I bought the bike. The old seat got torn up from repeated crashing and what not as this is a "learn to ride" bike. It needs to be replaced as a result but considering the amount of abuse it went through with the constant falling and dragging on the pavement and general clobbering a 3-6 year old can give to a bike I think this holds up VERY well.

Jennifer LopezJennifer Lopez: The seat itself is great for my 5-year old twins to use on the balance bike I bought this for; it's great quality and heavy duty. However installation was DIFFICULT. Maybe that's how all seats are installed?? I HATED the experience. I had never put a bicycle seat on before and I hope I never will again. I can not imagine that "they" have not found a better way of putting a seat on?!?! The experience was shockingly difficult, I wanted to give up numerous times. I persevered through sweat, cursing and was near tears and now it sits at an inappropriate angle. Should I take it off again and try again? HA! Not in a million years. I really need my husband to help me fix it....my husband? -maybe when my infant is old enough to use this bike it will be fixed.

George C: My daughter had a really uncomfortable seat on her 18" big box toy store bike. I couldn't find a decent youth saddle at any of our local bike shops, and was a little hesitant to order this sight unseen. However, this fit perfectly on her existing seat-post, only taking 5 minutes to install and adjust. She's been riding on it for a few weeks now and has commented that this one is really comfortable and doesn't make her bum hurt anymore. Of course the purple/pink color was a bonus too.

It's a narrower saddle, more like what you'd see on an adult bike vs. some of the wider kids bike seats. Has a soft-feel synthetic cover to the seat. There is just enough cushion to it for comfort, but not too much to make it a too soft seat. Great for my kid!
