JO Momma: I wanted something to help pick up the clumped cat litter that was falling through my standard catbox scoop. As others have mentioned, you wouldn't want to use this is your only scoop (would take too long), but it's perfect for getting any little soiled pieces. We use TidyCat Multi-cat scoopable litter in our cat box, and this works perfect (after first scooping with a standard catbox scoop).

Lisa C.: I got this as a secondary scoop in addition to my original one - I want something that's finer so smaller clumps won't go through. This works perfectly! I love that it's pointy so I can also scoop up smaller clumps with the tip.

TS8466: This is a must buy for cat litter -- the holes are small so all the waste is collected versus most that have huge holes, leaving waste in the box. I cut the pointy end off so it was flat (easy with a scissor) and it works perfectly. Good value for the money - and in my view, the best one for cats.

I. Peacher: I use this scooper for my bunny rabbits droppings. The grate on this is appropriate and does not let the little poops fall through the holes. The major downside of this scooper is that when you brush the poops into the scoop they roll right back out immediately. The scoop SHOULD have a angled dip in it so that the little droppings are not able to roll back out again. This can be frustrating and defeat the purpose of scooping them up especially depending on the surface of the cage whether it is even or not. Bunny droppings, in case you didn't know, are very round and roll right back out of the flat surface of the scooper. Dust pans have a slight angle so that dust and crumbs don't drift right out. The design should've been the same way.
