Jims mom in Bham: I bought this sunscreen for a trip to Hawaii because the island we went to has banned most sunscreens due to the damage their ingredients do to wildlife and coral. This particular Sun Bum product said it is sea life safe. It smells good and works great—however, I would like to say that I found out in Hawaii that it is not truly sea life safe. It has ingredients that are still harmful but not as harmful as others. I feel that this has been untruthfully advertised as reef/sea life safe. I suppose I should have read the ingredients and done the research instead of believing the company’s claims. It is a good product and works well, I just don’t appreciate the false claim, especially when trying to be eco-conscious.
