Mike: I’ve had this thing for two years now and it works amazing. I throw it on the pool cover and do some things around the house and periodically check on it until the cover is empty. Still works great and I’ve even fallen asleep and forgotten the pump to only discover is somehow still working after running dry for several hours. Couldn’t recommend this enough.

M.Jordan: I bought this pump to drain my 14ft wide above ground pool. It was so quiet and drained the pool quickly. The cord is long. I inserted the hose into my water hole so that I could have it drain from the back of my house to the front of my house. And I love that it drains the water down to almost empty. There was only water where the ground was unlevel and the water had pooled like puddles. I have used it several times and am so happy with this purchase.

B. Nana: We have a 4,000 cubic foot, in-ground pool. It works, but not as fast as our last one. For the money it is fine but I have 2 problems: 1. it does not automatically shut off so I have to watch when all of the water is off the cover and unplug it. and 2. Debris gets stuck in the unit and I have to dig it out with a knitting needle. We have looked everywhere to find out if it can be opened to clean/empty debris but couldn't find an answer to that.
