GenesysGenesys: The quality is good and heavy duty, but too bulky and heavy for small dogs. I would buy this for dogs that are at least 25 lbs or bigger. The leather is so thick and heavy, it is too stiff to form a comfortable ring around a small neck of an 8.5 lbs dog. Otherwise, I would have been very happy.

Count Simon G Smith: These collars are good, the name plate and wording of choice is engraved clearly, I would use again as necessary, I have two female German Shepherds, I ordered medium large breed size, that size is a bit big for my dogs, tightened to the last hole, so if it helps you might want to go a size smaller than the size you think you're dog is, there's plenty of fit adjustment, this is no criticism of the collar at all, I just over estimated but they still fit and look great.

cameron: So came quicker then expected and the quality is great. My only complaint is the loop to hold the excess of the collar is slightly to big so the excess slips out and flaps around. I've solved this with an elastic band. Other then that would highly recommend.
