Drumgirl: I teach English to native Chinese people and this has proven very helpful on many occasions during classes. I would have given 5 stars but the print is super-small (though I understand why) and it makes it really hard to see the characters clearly enough to write them correctly.

Lisa: i just practice my pinyin to make myself tobe able to type chinese on my pc , this chat has some worlds i can use but not too much but i love the way it is laminated . and make it easy to keep

Mary A. Brotherton: My 12-year old grandson decided to learn how to speak Mandarin and he has done so by himself. This is a great "refresher" reference for him when he needs a little help with a word or two. We had to enlarge it because some of the characters seemed to be too small to read but he does just fine with nearly all of them.

Jo: This is a very good reference. No reference of this size can cover everything, but it is a good start. The print is quite fine (necessarily), which can be a challenge for older adults like me.

R.G.: I've been learning Chinese for a while now and something I've needed was a set of flash cards to help me memorize everything. I mainly listen to podcasts, but that doesn't help me recognize the characters in writing so this has been a great help.
It jumps straight into pinyin translation and doesn't have an explanation for it, so you will be fine if you're already familiar with it or have access to another resource.
I would seriously recommend this.
