Daniel De Gannes: Bought this for our 3 year old. He is 4 now and it's still in great shape. He never gets bored with it as there's always something he could make. It's the only toy that stood the test of time with your toddler.. the others get 2 weeks max attention and then get shoved in the forgotten corner.

MM: If your kid is into building this is a must have. My 5 year old plays with this all the time. Really good quality, no sharp edges.

Jason Harrington: I looked for a long time at a wide variety of stem-type toys for my 4yo. I wanted something that made sense for his current skills, but could still be a fun thing to create with as he grows older. I wanted something he could take in the bath, or otherwise use to think mechanically in his own creative way. I started to look at these for the possible added feature of using them to roll small marbles through for fun, and you could probably do this, but you would need to avoid a couple of types of pieces that have a small plastic piece blocking the hole. Regardless of all that, this is simply fantastic and everything I had hoped for, with the exception of my unreasonable marble hope (which it may still be possible to do). I use these to give him in behavior incentive "good guy bags." This works great because they are nice and chunky for his four-year old hands, they do not require tools (they may actually help him grow to the skills needed for tools), and giving him just ten or so at a time is plenty to send his superhero imagination deep into weapon-building mode, which can carry over to the bath, be dragged outside with him, etc. The case they came in is substantial, and much...
