Oneta Bibbs: This is a really good food for the price. There’s nothing like this on the market that isn’t at least double the price. This is made in the USA, meets and exceeds AAFCO standards, real meat as the first and second ingredients, no legumes or potatoes to help prevent DCM, and it’s poultry free. Poultry is one of the biggest food allergens in dogs which is wild because it’s in almost every dog food. We get the red meat recipe which has 6 different kinds of prey to ensure a well balanced meal. It also has a variety of fruits, veggies, and pro biotic. I crumble a Stella & Chewy beef and salmon patty on top of this kibble because my dog got the puppy version of those when he was a baby and the habit just stuck around. We love all the Stella and Chewy products.

Carolanne P: I have one dog who eats anything and another dog who is picky. I like stella and chewys due to the quality ingredient lots of options if you want to be grain free or different meats. I also use stella and chewys (different listing) for my cat. So for me looking at quality food and making myself feel better is why I started mine on stella and chewys a long time ago. I tryed another brand once and that how I learned my one dog has been spoiled and is picky now haha.

Price compare to your local pet shops first, I bought from here because it was about $15 dollars less then my local shop. If the prices is raised I will go back to local.

The bag I got expires in 3 months which is fine for me; my dogs will have it done by then. But keep that in mind with amazon and dating it can sometimes be a gamble.

Also if you are trying it for the first time go to stella and chewys website and get a coupon for a discount and use it at a local shop. This way you can see if you pets like it. But I know from experience with my dog and also the pet shops in house dog this is what the picky eaters like. Its the coated raw flavor; is my theory.

Mindy BixbyMindy Bixby: First off I love Stella and Chewy products! All three of my dogs and my kitty eat this brand. I love the quality of ingredients, I have read many good things about this line as well. I have 2 dachshunds who would be considered tweenies. they need to lose a few pounds as they are overweight and not obese. My third is a Jack Russell/Chiwauwa mix who is fine with her weight. I have done A LOT of research regarding best weight food, temperatures of proteins, allergies, calories, fat and the other ingredients in various foods. I feed all my pets the freeze dried raw coated kibble diet. ALL COMMERICAL FOOD IS CRAP!! I have read literally every ingredient list on every main and not as popular dry kibble food label and it shocks and disqusts me what is in the food that the company is charging so much money for. These are reasons I chose Stella and Chewy. Here's the problem. I found 2 flavors in the Wild Red Raw line which would have been perfect for my dogs needs. One of my dachshunds has enviromental allergies and is allergice to chicken. she is overweight as is her little sister Pepper. None of my dogs will eat the Wild Raw Wholesome grain flavors.
