G. Vigrass: I’ve been buying this for my cat for years. He loves it. He coat if shiny and he seems very healthy. The quality control has been consistent for years, soft nuggets that I break up for him. He absolutely loves this food!
Until the past few bags. The consistency has changed and the only way to describe the morsels is hard and seemingly stale .I can feel the difference as I break them up for him. He walks away from a full dish. The last 2 or three bags have been like this and I am changing his food to another brand., although a similar type of food.

Daisy Minton: This Stella&Chewy’s freeze dried raw are the best! My cats haven been eating this brand for a long time. they really love it. I usually give them dry ones instead of mix it with water because I noticed that they would not eat it as long as it’s wet and like liquid. They poop and pee very well with this. I am definitely gonna stick to it. And we don’t have to worry about the cats having kidney problems since the recipe is low phosphorus and low magnesium.

Himashi Mead: We have four cats ranging in age from 7 to 19 years old and all four of them absolutely love this brand. I always try to get it when there’s a coupon and it’s offered as a subscribe and save delivery item through Amazon. You can definitely rehydrate them in water but, I like to crumble them up for my cats for their meal or use as a topper. I always make sure I gave them a very full bowl of water when feeding. They definitely tend to consume more water when I feed them these. Will continue to buy these for my kitties!

Critical thinker: I can’t say for sure what’s in these besides the ingredient list but I do know that manufacturers aren’t required to list ingredients outside of what they source, i.e. if they buy chicken from a place, they aren’t required to list if the chicken was raised on some type of poison like arsenic, since they did not raise the chicken. So, it could be there but they get away with it due to the way labelling is required. Lots of loopholes there. I don’t know what is in this product but it’s easy to prepare and the cats love it. Hence my suspicion of what is in these.

I’ve read on cat food reviews that Stella’s is not forthcoming/transparent with questions asked by purchasers either. I also wonder why it’s not red, as is raw meat, when it’s freeze dried. Why is it brown? Is it cooked? Why does it take so long to rehydrate? Freeze-dried food is usually really quick to rehydrate whereas dehydrated is not. Lots of questions, no answers. My cats eat fresh, raw meat with a balanced supplement mix usually and they don’t go crazy for it like they do this.

Darlene: I have been buying this for more then 2 years, for the last month both my cats will not touch it. Called the manufacture to ask if formulation and manufacturing had changed,,, they told me to return the product as they have a 100% guarantee.. however Amazon does not allow this warranty. Something is different I even added canned food to it.. and cat still wont eat. Something is wrong!!

LRL: My cats really love this food. Coats are soft and shiny. They are losing much less fur and as a result they puke up fewer fur balls. My senior cat has put on some weight which is good as she was quite thin. They all meow repeatedly when is it mealtime until they get the bowl of food. Great product!!

Joey BJoey B: I have a 3 1/2 year old cat that’s the love of my life. I rescued her from a hoarding situation when she was about 6 months old. What I didn’t realize initially was that she had an awful upper respiratory infection that we’ve been dealing with for about 3 years. The vet recommended giving her lysine daily to boost her immune system and this has helped but she continually goes through cycles where she’ll be good for a few weeks and then go through a week or so where her eyes are watering constantly and she’s sneezy & snotty.
