The Glacier Glove Abaco Bay Sun Glove is the perfect choice for any angler looking for a reliable and comfortable fishing glove. With a wide range of colors to choose from, these gloves are designed with comfort and durability in mind. The ergonomic design ensures a secure fit and the reinforced stitching ensures they will last. Whether you're out on the lake or in the ocean, these gloves will keep your hands protected and comfortable.HedyHedy: After receiving and inspecting the product, it seems of good quality. I purchased these gloves for the acclaimed 50+ UPF and sun protection as my job and field work constantly exposes me to harmful UV rays. I often experience extreme tanning on my arms and hands when out in the sun every day, and I wanted to limit both sun exposure and uneven tanning. The material feels thick enough to hopefully provide this protection; I specifically chose this brand because the gloves are longer at the wrists compared to other brands which will hopefully prevent a watch tan. I do work in the desert in which temps get high into the 100s, so time will tell if the gloves do end up being breathable and quick dry. I have small hands (3-3.5 inches measured across palm) and the XS/S fit perfectly, and even has a bit of room still. I’m hoping that the product will last and live up to expectations!

ontariohvac: They fit well and do the job ....... not too durable. But decent price ... if they end up lasting one summer ill buy another pair next year

Hairy🌲Bushman: Great for fishing. I use them year round, even in the winter for ice fishing.

Nathan Rieck: I wore these every single day while backpacking on the PCT this year. I hiked 800 miles of the trail and the gloves have just developed the first little hole in the thumb. Very durable in my opinion. The logos peeled off fairly quickly on the fingers but the one on the wrist is still holding strong. I also got this sweet tan lines on all my fingers that were poking out but it’s well worth it. Way better than having to put greasy sunscreen on several times a day while in the desert. I also used them for the snow and they even helped with keeping my hands warm to some degree. Layered these with my other gloves and my hands stayed nice and warm when in camp. From the moment I waked up until going to bed I would be wearing these unless going to the bathroom so I got a lot of use on my pair. I would order again but I’m not sure that I’ll have to for a long while since they are holding up nicely. They do get a bit dirty pretty quickly but I would just put them in the wash with the rest of my clothes and they would come out pretty clean looking.

Danielle: After reading other reviews on UPF gloves, I decided to go with these bad boys. I do not like the feel of sunscreen on my hands, I do have stick sunscreen that I could use, but then the back of my hands would be all white and zinc-y. Instead I wear these and my friends look at me funny, but I will be the one laughing 20 years from now when they have spotted hands from the sun blazing through their windshield.
I bought the XL size as I have fat hands, and the finger length is still rather long, but fit great and go a few inches past my wrist. My pinky finger is barely visible, but oh well. I thought these might make me lose grip on my steering wheel, but they grip fine. The stitching is quality on these, the only upgrade I would like is little rubber grippys on the palm side. Maybe for my next pair. I live in Texas and it's been 90F the last few days, which I've done more driving than usual, and I've had no problems with them feeling hot or suffocating. These are a good choice for a good lightweight glove.

Jethro13: Bought these for a fishing trip to Sea of Cortez, Baja Mex and they are great. Good feel, not too tight or too loose with the right amount of stretch. I only wore them 5 days so we'll see how long they last and fit, but if only a season that's better than skin cancer or scaring off fish with sunblock scent (we were not fishing Bluefin Tuna on this trip, but they can be shy to sunblock on hands/bait). I had 50spf sunblock on my arms, and noticiable tan lines where the glove sleeve ended on my arm - so they are blocking the sun quite well. We also has small live mackerels for bait that were super slimy and slippery with bare hands - near impossible to hold outside the bait net. With these gloves it was wayyyy easier to grab and hold live bait. They rinse off quick, and have good grip on rod, reel etc. and a little line protection for casting a 20-30 size conventional using your thumb to prevent backlash. I'm buying another set as a backup, and some for my Dad too. I figure they're much more $$ than sunblock, but the grip factor for live bait is worth every penny. I did get heckled by everyone for wearing fancy looking gloves including folks on other boats, but at the end of the week...

AmazonShopper: Material is very soft and stretchy; comfortable, but seems a bit slippery for driving. Also fit is considerably larger than expected. My finger tips (thumb, index & smallest) are barely exposed. Hard to type. Possibly they are unisex sized.
Maybe if they could make sizes S, M, L & XL separately, instead of combined, the fit would be closer to required.
I just received them moments ago, so can not review the other features.

Joshua: Pretty cool gloves. Every now and then my hooks get caught in them, so I don't foresee these holding up forever, but I like them enough to buy them every year or so. Honestly, I think ANY gloves intended for the purpose of fishing would fall apart after a while because you're touching fins, gill plates, possibly teeth, abrasive line, hooks, etc, that are all going to shred them, it's just going to take a while. If you're serious about protecting your skin, you probably will just buy more. Has nothing to do with the quality of the gloves, they seem well-made, it's just the nature of how they are going to be used.
I wish they had a cool color scheme, such as camp or something, but these gray gloves pretty much go with anything and they don't get too in the way when I'm fishing. They will absolutely not keep you warm at all, because they're made of...I think nylon? Anyway, it's not a material that offers much warmth, and especially not after they get wet (because they will get wet, since you're fishing). Once they're wet, they actually keep your hands very cool, which would be great during summer months when it's very hot out. During the spring and fall, I wear a fingerless fleece...
