MichaelMichael: 5ft10. Wear them all day and they never slide down. If you want to pull them all the way up they go mid way up the knee cap

Adam Buckallew: I have used these for years and recently had a problem finding anyplace that still had them... not even the Hanes site had any in stock. Thank you Amazon for still providing these. If you're not quite at the "compression" sock stage of life, then these are great. I use them for the extra support they give for working 8-10 hour days... and the cushion is good, too.

V. WelchV. Welch: The tops of these socks are 12.75 inches long!!, not 6" which is a typical "crew" sock. I'd call these knee socks. I should have read more of the reviews. The top edges seem to be very tight when I slipped them over my hand to check. Label says they are 53%cotton, 37% polyester, 10% misc. They feel ok, not very cushy, though.
Going to have to return them.

HOS 61: These socks fit a little snug but I like that. They are not like the soft cotton tube socks I have been wearing. They are a little thinner and less "fluffy". They are more like a cross between the cotton tube socks and somewhat stretchy dress socks. The best thing is that have a pre-formed heel and bottom. I expect them to stay in good shape with no stretched out, and worn out heels I have experienced with regular tube socks. I plan to buy again.

Tom F.: When I first got these socks, I was shocked at how long they were. I generally do calf length (which for me has always been a slight bit over the calf, because I have a smaller foot and shorter legs) but these went right up to my knees. So, I turned them down by about a quarter of the length and they fit much better on the upper part of my calf. These socks are great for anyone who needs or is looking for compression socks. Before I got these, I was experiencing calf cramps at least once or twice per week, because I'm on my feet and legs for multiple hours due to my job. Since I started wearing these socks, I no longer wake up in the wee hours of the night in excruciating pain due to leg cramps. The only thing that keeps me from giving them 5 stars is that I wish there was a bit more padding at the bottom of the foot.

am2011am2011: I've bought the 6 pair pack (yes is 6 pairs and not 6 pieces), they look and feel okay, however the blends are not as described, the cotton content is @ 49% and not 80% as wrongly stated in the description, so for those looking for high cotton content, you may want to look somewhere else. I'll update on comfort and durability.
UPDATE: bought in October 2020, is now March 2021- after repeat washes, still in pretty good shape, comfortable, have kept the thickness, still snug and don't leave lint on my feet, pretty good value

Dan: If you were a teen in the late 70’s early 80’s then you probably remember those white tube socks that went up to your knees and had those color stripes around the top. You used to be able to stick your comb in the side of one leg and the other you could stick the few bucks you had when heading to the arcade or convenience store. The time to get new ones was when the elastic at the top started to wear out and they started falling. If you’re like me you were disappointed to notice that these knee high socks gradually disappeared from stores as the “crew socks” took their place. I had no choice for a long time but to wear them as I couldn’t find the knee high length. But MAN they are annoying because they have that feeling of the falling knee high ones. I searched high and low for those knee high socks and finally found these and the great thing about these is that the elastic on top doesn’t wear out. So they stay up for the duration of the socks life which leads me to my only gripe with these socks. The life span has only been a few months because they develop holes. Perhaps I shouldn’t get so annoyed though because they last about 4-5 months. I’ve ordered new ones...
