Matvey Vyugin: I tested the knife in the field, cutting, gutting, carving and chopping from softwood to hardwood and so far its stood up to the abuse. The steel is softer and the edge will roll if you chop hard woods or drop the knife on a rock, but it will not chip and because of that the knife is super tough. Once edge is rolled or blade is dulled up it can be very easily sharpened on the included diamond plate. In minutes you can get a shaving edge on it so that is an advantage as compared to harder steel knives. The pummel kinda of got squished to the side from hitting slay rock but its still usable. The fire steel started a fire for me in seconds using brush, dried grass and all i could find in the forest around me, so it definitely works. In comparison i would say this knife is a cheaper version of Bear Grylls Ultimate Pro, for $30 less but that thing is indestructible till this day. If you want a good cheap knife to take out to camp or hunting, with a very nice sheath and a sharpener and fire steel all in one package this is the knife for you. Iits not perfect, but it does the job for $35, thats a meal for 2 in a reg restaurant.

J.Etnoc: Good knife, the metal is actually very strong considering it is a stainless steel. It does have a micro edge which personally I do not like and can make sharpening a bit tedious. The thickness of the blade is between 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch making it fairly thick. The handle is a rubberized plastic which personally I do not like but it feels nice in the hand and does not feel cheap like other plastic handles can. The sheath can be a bit unwieldy because of the size and the hard plastic it is made of. The cord cutter rusted very quickly but the blades are so recessed in the sheath that cutting your hand on the rusty metal is minimal. The sharpening plate should have just been omitted. It is too small and you cannot use it easily or effectively because of the shape of the sheath. The placement on the inside shredded my pants and even my coveralls so I had to remove it. The fire starter actually stayed in its slot very well and in my experience was not at risk of falling out. The fire starter also worked well for its size. There is no hole in the bottom of the sheath so water can pool up in it. If debris does get in the bottom of the sheath cleaning it out can be a hassle. I have used...

Visesh Lall: Great product. First off, these are my first impressions of the knife, I have not used it as yet, if I do and it breaks I will update this review, otherwise this is what I think.
The knife feels very solid, good weight, the blade is solid, a slight bit wider than I thought but not really a flaw, comes relatively sharp and the handle is relatively ergonomic to hold, rubber feels durable, a little soft and tacky so you get a really good grip even when wet.
It is well balanced, and thick enough that I can pinch it just where the blade meets the handle like a little chopper, it also has a good overall length to properly control it to do things like cutting veggies and probably gutting a fish.
Now the sheath, again, very well built, feels very durable including the nylon belt loop is nice and thick, great quality. The fire starter works, it is mounted upside down on the face of the sheath, but it is in there well, takes a bit of effort to pull it out, so I don't see it falling out. Over time of in and out, I can't say.
My only issues are, the sheath, It would have been nice if it had spaces on the side, to strap it onto a backpack strap to have it on your chest. But the...

Buyer: It's a knife... in terms of needing something for survival its pretty basic.
have had it for a few months now and this is what i find
light but sturdy
very comfortable in the hand with grippy handle
big sharp blade
strong sheath
flint makes big sparks
good enough for handling wood (starting fires and whittling) yet i can use it as a quick unpick for my clothes
would recommend and definitely buy again - dont think i will need to though as this thing looks like it is built to last
