Amazon Customer: Just installed new white quartz countertops and wanted a white mat for hot items. The size of these is perfect. I also use it for dish draining after a large party. I bought one and ended up ordering two more and now I will order some for my daughter. They are thick, but flexible, easy to store and love that they come in white!

Moneypenny: We don't have as much room near out kitchen sink and tried one of those towel mats but air couldn't get to underneath dishes and mold would grow underneath. : ( This mat works great! The ribs are high enough to let air through. There is a small "wall" around the mat that prevents water from dripping to the counter area and it works for how we use it. We use it to rest dishes until we towel them dry so a lot of water doesn't get a chance to collect. Its also handy to rest vegetables and fruit after washing.
