StanSport Cabana Tent: Enjoy Privacy and Protection Outdoors

R. HillR. Hill: Just received this privacy tent a few hours ago. As some comments mentioned, it may take 2 people to assemble, but I was able to do it myself. It wasn’t easy, but doable with patience. I quickly scanned through the directions and I was off to assemble.
First thing, I am 5’8”, so getting to the top was a bit challenging. If you are shorter than that, I recommend brining a step stool to make assembly easier. It took me about 30mins to do this myself. It’s sturdy, but I will update my review when I use it at the beach and during a windy day (though assembly by yourself during winds may prove to be challenging).
Build quality is decent. I did notice some sketch type stitching and I hope it hold enough for a decent duration of its life. Typical fiberglass poles, so if you plan on using it at all, bring some Gorilla Tape (which I plan to do). The stakes that come along with it are your typical budget metal stakes, nothing to write home about, but I also bought a hammer and stake set just in case.
It does have the pockets and windows inside that are consistent with the quality.
Overall, it’s a great privacy tent for the price.

Craig & Debbie Hardman: We've been enjoying the shelter for a few days now. Took my first shower in it this morning. Lots of room to move around. Was a bit tricky setting it up alone, but very doable.

Charlie: Used this as a portable bathroom and it was an absolute hit!!!

It’s stiff to put up but sturdy (10 minutes max).

It is not see thru per say but you can definitely see a shadow moving around if you have a light on at night.

The space is very roomy.
The windows were such a perfect touch!

Definitely a solid purchase for anyone that likes a little comfort with bathroom stuff while they’re out.

Kimberley : I do not recommend using this as a camping toilet for 4 small kids..
We put a toilet in this tent and it didn’t end well.
It took less than 24 hours for this “toilet tent” to smell like something died in it, the heat wave did not help.
Plus emptying the bag out and embarrassingly disposing of it was torturous.
We never used it as a toilet tent after that day.
It does make a great privacy tent for changing clothing though!

IvanOttawaIvanOttawa: Very happy with our purchase. It's larger than we expected, perfect for our portable toilet or hanging shower (hook to attach). A bit of a challenge to set up on the first try but now that we know how it goes, shouldn't be too bad. Windows are great, you can either leave them closed, just the screen or totally open. Floor detaches partially. One side is fixed and you have 2 velcros that fix the other 2 corners.

Can't wait to test it out!

Jackson: When I see so many good ratings and a couple less then, I to would think maybe they are haters or all good reviews are just bots or company employees.
Before I bought this I read some of the reviews and wondered why people cried about setting it up.....well let’s say I understand now! This tent when it comes to size was better than a pop up I got at Dick,s. Very roomy I used it for bathroom privacy and showering window designs is great for ventilation and do well for a visual at camp making sure no 4 foot or 2 foot critters sneak up on you they zip conveniently open to perhaps you need someone to pass you a potty bag or some soap or whatever while keeping yourself private (not opening the main door)

By the end of the summer a pole snapped lucky for me I got the warranty well that’s a long story I had to reach out to manufacture they would’ve helped if they had a replacement. So me being the reasonable guy that I am. Said ok when so from that point I waited and every time I checked in through email it was pushed back.....ok December now it’s been 2 days after an email saying yes will send one.

How about I shouldn’t have to follow up and...

K.R. Lewis: This is a handy little tent to use while tent camping. We have a bucket toilet that we used inside the tent. Sure beats trudging to the pit toilet in the middle of the night. It has nice zippered vents on the upper portion for ventilation, and multiple loops inside to hang a light and a toilet paper holder. It is short inside for me (I’m 6 foot 1), so not sure it would be a good tent for a shower. The base has poles around the perimeter for more stability.

Drew: Works well. I primarily use this to store things I don't want wet when leaving the campground. Survived many thunderstorms and windstorms. I haven’t used it as a shower, however there is more than enough room inside.
