David Spearing: I bought this as a computer cart for my work/gaming rig. I only used 2 of the 3 shelves leaving out the middle one so it wouldn't be too tall for my use. The assembly was stupidly simple but I was surprised there were only two metal support beams that came with it and the instructions were to install them on the top shelf. I followed the instructions (aside from the change I already mentioned) and placed my tower system on the top shelf and a UPS on the bottom. The UPS is roughly 50 lbs (APC SmartUPS 1500) and the tower is about 75 lbs to 80 lbs. Both the top and the bottom shelves are sagging about an inch in the middle after only using them for a couple of weeks. It needs MUCH more bracing to be an effective cart that could support the advertised 400 lbs. I may end up purchasing some angle iron and making my own braces. I can't believe I paid $160 for this thing.

Robin in NY: This is perfect for my very small art room...holds all of my mixed media materials and wheels around on my hard floor with no problem..I'm glad I purchased it...It was easy to assemble but one of the two cross bars was not cut properly in manufacturing (one is longer than the other and won't fit, which also means the holes are off) but I have a good friend who works with metal and he said he could fix it easily.

GDFGDF: Had been using it for a month, it's good but the durability/strength is much lesser than my expectation to a $300 cart. The installation is easy, however, one of the supporting beam under the first layer is wrong. I attached both right one and wrong one. The wrong one is too narrow that the screw bite the beam while screw in. I won't buy again unless the price go down to about $150.

ForeverYOUNG: This does come in a flat box, so you'll have to put it together. But, if I can do it, most anyone can. You WILL need a rubber mallet and a phillps head screwdriver (I have a ratcheting one - that helps) - or a power drill - I don't have one of those. It took me about 20- 30 minutes to put together by myself. The instructions were very easy. I love this cart. I use it to roll around all my portable kitchen appliances. Works exactly as I had hoped. It is a black plastic material. Will hold up to 400lbs. Rolls easily - 2 of the 4 wheels have locks. The wheels are a gray plastic. I chose the cart that didin't a lip edge - so it is easy to slide the appliances on and off. I cover the cart (loaded with my appliances) with table cloth as a dust cover. I am very happy with my purchase. Having said that, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.
