AmandaAmanda: We purchased these for our older gas fireplace, which only had sand and embers when we moved in. The price for the quantity of logs was much lower than we'd seen elsewhere, except for a tiny set. I wish there'd been a half size since we can only fit about half of these logs in our fireplace, but they look nice in a basket next to the fireplace for an added touch of realism. We only needed to use one of the large logs and maybe 4 of the smaller ones. They didn't turn black and they defiintely helped disperse the flames for a fuller, more realistic looking fire. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Very happy with this purchase!

Sarhad Valerie: Nice logs with a realistic look. The logs are varying sizes. Some have a burned look to it and some have a unburned wood look to it to make it look realistic.

Robin Sobieski: We bought a portable, propane fire pit to use when camping in an area with a fire ban. (when a portable, propane fire pit is allowed) The fire pits all come with "lava rocks". We wanted it to look more like a real fire. These fit the bill perfectly. They are exactly as described in size. We only needed 5 of them to give us the perfect look we wanted. We will save the other 5 for a time when we want to replace these. We have used them 3 times so far and they do get blacker with use. They may clean off if I washed them - will have to try that at some point. But for now they give us the look we wanted!

James: The logs are awesome and filled up the space pretty well. They glow red which adds a very nice look to the fire place. I would defiantly recommend getting the ember material to fill in between the logs. It seems to retain the heat better and adds a nice “ember” look to it

I'm Tore DownI'm Tore Down: About half of the reviews are 5 stars and the other half are 3 stars or less. That's a lot of bad reviews but I figured I'd buy them because the price was comparatively better to the others that looked like the same product. I'm glad I did. Out of the 10 pieces in the box I've only used 6 and they look like real logs, especially when the fire is on. Everyone who's seen them has thought they were real. Adding "Midwest Hearth Rock Wool for Gas Log - 6 oz. Bag" (WAY more than enough) gives it even more of a real look. Well worth it.
