Jess A.: This can be used if you don't bolt it to the wall but I did add a 10 pound barbell at the bottom for stability. That being said, I have few and light tools in it that don't require much support. If you need it for serious/heavy tools, you NEED to bolt it, otherwise this is too flimsy and a waste of money for your purpose.

GirlRM: This was fast to assemble, but rather flimsy. I set it up against a wall for stability and loaded it, being careful to load the weight evenly. It fell over on its own a few hours later. Thankful I didn't set it next to something valuable, like my car. That would have really damaged the paint job! I think it will work well enough if I anchor it to the wall, but this is a piece of junk, really. Not worth the price.

BL: I bought this rack for its intended use, but you either need to significantly attach it to the wall, or put a lot of weight on the base. I had to weight it down with over 20 lbs on the base just to prevent it from tipping over (this does then probably interfere with the useable slots. It looks like it should be able to stand on its own from the picture, but there is no way to do that with any real tools. I recommend most people look elsewhere, unless they plan to somehow mount the base to the floor.

PIXIE: I bought this for work to hold mops, brooms, squeegees, dusters, and it does the job. Not very sturdy so I had to put a gallon jug of water on the bottom to keep it from tipping over because we can’t attach it to the wall. Other than that, it holds lots of objects and is perfect for neatness.

Don Carnagè:
This rack is the most flimsy piece of junk I have ever seen in my life. The four thin plastic pipes are so light that they bend when you put garden tools in it. There is no actual base to keep the thing from tipping over when it does have anything in it. It does come with some wonderful screws and gyproc anchors to keep it upright because that’s the only way the horrible bloody thing is going to stay standing.
DO NOT waste your money on this horrible piece of garbage

Rachkap: I live in a small flat with no storage space, garage or broom closet so I purchased this for all my brooms, mops and buckets etc. It sits in out unused bath and is a life saver. It keeps everything neat and tidy and easy to get to.

Oscar: Love it. Inexpensive and holds all my long handle things in the garage. I followed their advice and used the existing slots to screw it to the wall. Happy to see that they spaced the slots to align with the studs in the wall. Anyhow, it makes it very stable if you're using it for a lot of tall items.
