Lazy Days: This table looks like a piece of furniture instead of a card table. I leave it set up in my family room for projects but like the fact that I can fold it up and put it away if needed. I like the fact that I was able to get wooden chairs to go with it. I got them at Costco and noticed later that they were the same brand as my wooden card table. The chairs are also available through Amazon.

Monkey: I felt it was a little small for 4 people to sit so I bought two that I can put together and add a table cloth for up to 6 guests sit at. The table is very attractive. I really wanted the fruitwood finish because my apartment is primarily walnut but it was out of stock so because of my urgent need (upcoming dinner party) I ordered the cherry wood finish. I was really pleased that it wasn't as red as the picture. It fit right in with the other woodwork in my place. Folds easily and fits nicely in my entry way closet.

Dalgarnif: This is a very solid wood table and is quite sturdy. Most american-made folding card tables are cheap, metal and vinyl products but this is a a good product. I looked everywhere for a decent card table and just could not find anything like the quality of tables available in Europe. I guess they appreciate a nice high-quality card table more than we Americans do. This table was the nearest I could find to a quality card table like those in Europe. This table is also of a high enough quality that you can use it for additional dining on holidays, etc.

Cathy T.: A family member has had one just like this for 35 years, that I have loved. We had purchased something similar, but it had a cheap vinyl-covered 1/4" plywood center insert, which bowed in a short time with minimal light use; it didn't hold up. When I saw this same Stakmore brand table on Amazon, I just had to buy it. I also appreciated it was available in multiple finishes. It has been just what I expected, very sturdy, solid smooth top (not lightweight), easy folding legs, great hardware, made of Wood! All of my teen's & 20's kids have borrowed it for games or entertaining friends; they love it too. Perfect to set up in the office as the extra table for tax time, or the sewing machine. Another point to remember for some games, as well as sewing machines, you really don't want the plastic static-y white tables...risk to the electronics.
You will use this one for a lifetime!
