awesome: Take your time. No extra pressure. It's an emergency tool and designed for such use. I use them for my 30' palms. Tied twine to both ends and pull. It takes a little. But cheaper than the tree service

Father o.: These wire saws start out cutting easily, but as you get further in with the cut, they tend to bind and get stuck. I gave 3 stars because they do work very well to begin the cut, and I have a feeling I might just need to learn how to use them better.

Dow Fredrickson: I bought this for field dressing deer (cutting through the pelvis). The blue handle is awkward for passing through the deer. It doesn't compress enough in cold weather. The first one I used broke in half as we were getting through the bone. It worked fast up until then. It's possible I overheated the wire.

Kam: It might work on small things but I tried to cut a branch 30" in the air. Tied both ends to rope and after about 4 passes it snapped In half. Will stick to professional chain from here on
