MrMarek: Eines der besten Messer was Qualität (Fertigung und die verwendeten Materialien) anbelangt. Groß und wirklich gut gemacht. Das ist die Serie von Spyderco die noch in USA hergestellt wird. Top Stahl, G10, sehr gute Fertigungstolleranzen. Nachhaltig sehr scharf. Bin sehr zufrieden. Bei mir (Handschuhe Gr. 11,5-12) passt die Griffkonstruktion ausgezeichnet. Solide und gut. Als EDC womöglich ein wenig zu groß, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Von mir 5 volle Sterne.

Cliente Amazon: Me parece un producto excelente en todos los aspectos, si, es grande pero se siente bastante bie en la mano y el peso me parece apropiado para su tamaño.

Kai R.: Top Messer! Echt super scharf geliefert. Kein klingenspiel, robust gebaut, der S30V lässt sich sehr scharf ausschleifen und das DLC coating ist wahnsinnig robust! Für meine Hände passt es wie angegossen, habe Handschuhgröße 9-10.
Hab es Jeden Tag als treuen Begleiter auf der Baustelle bei mir. Manchmal wird auch mal ein Kupfer rohr damit entgratet!!
Mein nächstes spyderco wird dann ein "kleines manix" mit Micro MELT MAXAMET Klinge 🙄😊
Zum versandt! Alles ohne Probleme, würde zügig vom Händler losgeschickt! Nur immer diese Probleme mit Hermes.......

Hab das Messer bekommen, ausgepackt und muss echt Sagen die Verarbeitung ist Tippi Toppi.
Keine scharfen Kanten, Materialfehler, Klingenspiel, hakelnder Verschluss! Passt!
Das Spyderhole ermöglicht eine Vielzahl an Öffnungvarianten, macht echt bock mit dem Ding zu spielen.
Schließen geht auch mit etwas üben mit einer Hand. Der Ballbearing ist OK, finde ich.
Ich muss sagen das Ding liegt einfach Super in der Hand, in allen Positionen, besser als ich mir gedacht habe!
Das Manix ist natürlich n wuchtiges Teil mit ner riesen Klinge, aber überraschenderweise super Leicht, dankt des skelletierten Liners.
Ganz ehrlich, ich wünschte es wäre schwerer! :D
Hab es schon ordentlich hergenommen und hab noch nichtmal mini Ausbrüche in der Klinge!
Der Stahl ist denk ich super, hab Messer bisher nur über den Microfeinzug gezogen und über n Lederriemen mit Polierpaste und jedesmal kann ich mich damit rasieren.
Das nächste mal werde ich aber warscheinlich einen steileren Winkel einschleifen.
Ansonsten muss ich echt Sagen, Bomben Teil und trotz XL wirklich nicht zu groß und zu schwer für die...

415man: As you know i bought my first spyderco back around '90 (the Endura with built in clip). I still have that one but it is retired and still retains the clip and sharpness. Since then, Ive really liked spyderco, cold steel, sog, kershaw and even some chinese made sanrenmu. I use a three knife system a xl voyager tanto, or Cold steel ti-lite 6". For the medium blade i use a 3 1/2" or larger blade with the two most frequent being, the Cold Steel Recon 1 (newer version ) and the Spyderco Tenacious. The smaller blades are for tasks in public where I dont want folks to freak out as some will... I find myself personally liking the spyderhole type of blade deployment so I favor the Tenacious over the Recon 1 although overall, the recon 1 (when opened) has a better "feel" to it. I looked at the Benchmade griptilian and the Spyderco mannix XL as the blending of the best qualities of my two favorite mid-sized folders. So I was pleasantly surprised when I received my XL Mannix today ( happy early birthday to me, thank you). Spyderco's version of the benchmade axis lock is on the money, blade is large and sharp out of the box. The G-10 handles on the Mannix have a similar feel as the newer...

Shane: This knife is fantastic! I waited a few weeks to review it so that I could give some honest feedback.
First, the handle. The handle is extremely comfortable, ergonomic and well balanced. It just "fits" into your hand when you're using the knife. This helps with hand fatigue which, can lead to slippage which can lead to cuts. Cuts should only be on the intended material/media. Not your hand. The scales on this knife are nicely textured. They appear smooth at a glance but hold up very well to sweaty, wet, or oily hands. Internally, there are skeletonized liners inside the handle. These not only help with strength & stability but also help take away a little weight if that's ever a concern for you while packing for say, a camping trip.
Secondly, the blade. The blade is fantastic! It's made with Crucible's technology. Does more need to be said? The CPM S30V steel has an extremely high level of edge retention & because of the vanadium content being so high, can take a wickedly scary sharp edge. I have put this knife through some true "field use". I've used it to create a couple of 'feather sticks' for fire starting purposes, I've shaved wood for kindling off of...
