Judy B.: I order this by the case. It removes almost any stain from the carpet. I wouldn't be without it! This is probably the fifth or sixth case I've ordered. I have a miniature dachshund that is 16 years old and I have a big house, mostly carpeted. She is still ""my baby" and I am willing to do anything to keep her around without her suffering. She is already completely deaf but she has excellent eyesight (thank heavens). She has lived in the same house all her life. I lost my husband of 50 years a couple of years ago and she is my only permanent companion. My two daughters and three granddaughters live nearby so I have plenty of company, but they have their own lives to live. I am very mobile and have a big garden, along with a pool, that I care for. She is with me wherever I go (except in the car and then I have to tranquilize her on long trips). Her smell must still be working as she finds me wherever I am. As soon as she passess, which I don't even like to think about, I plan to get all new floors in the whole house. Until then, this makes the house bearable without any smell that I can detect. I couldn't do it without SPOT SHOT.

I first stumbled across Spot Shot at my local Costco in bulk fashion, and thought "why not". Now I'm a Spot-Shot evangelist, and I'm not kidding. I've loved Oxy-clean for years and was truly amazed at how well that stuff worked, but Oxy Clean leaves behind its own residue, and takes some time to work. Yes, Oxy Clean is miraculous, but Spot Shot takes Oxy clean to a whole new level.
The downside is this stuff is relatively expensive. These cans run out pretty quickly and you're very sad when they do because it's usually in the middle of a spill and you wish you had another can.
Just to tell you how well this stuff works, my friend who has a nice big boat with white carpet who throws parties with wine is now a believer. And not just a believer, but an evangelist like me. He will actually deliberately spill his wine on the carpet just so he can bust out a can of this to show off how well it works. It goes like this - someone will spill a little bit of (whatever/red wine) on the carpet and freak out and the usual "get some soda water" or "get some salt" or whatever their usual home remedy.
