Stephanie: The flavor of this is citrus and a bit tangy. The spice seems moist and fresh too. I add it to hummus and also some salads when I don’t have lemon on hand. The one problem with this is that the picture leads you to believe you will receive a beautiful glass jar but what arrives is a scuffed up plastic jar that makes it seem like you’ve paid for a low quality product.

C. Tucker: Buy from this company. I bought the sumac and the aleppo pepper, and they are now my go to spices. The packaging (a wide mouth container) is perfect for pinches and sprinkling over veggies, and for stacking in your spice cabinet. I have a TON of spices, and I use them all, and these are some of the freshest and most flavorful that I've gotten. Their customer service is awesome, and you are supporting a small business instead of some huge corporation. When they were out of Ras el Hanout, Debbie actually sent me a small baggie so I could make my son's birthday dinner with it. All the spices are GMO free, preservative free and vegan.
