Max the ax: I had a mystery coolant leak on my car, that used a quart of antifreeze per week. I could smell the antifreeze, but could not see the leak. I added one bottle of this dye, and used one of the UV flashlights I bought on Amazon as well. I found the leak in a matter of seconds (Intake manifold to block leak - the antifreeze would evaporate before reaching the bottom of the engine). This definitely works. I recommend to do this at night, or in a very dark place, since the leak will show up as a bright green/yellow light.
