Duff Lacy: the best stripper used for removing the outer sleeve on romex - as with any rubber handle tool the rubber slips on the handle and can slow you down but better than a razor

Northern Guy: This tool works great for cutting BX wire. The tool uses a manually operated tiny circular saw blade to make a cut through the metal sheathing allowing you to to pull back the metal and expose the wires inside. There are lots of ways to adjust the tool for different sizes of armoured wire and to ensure that you don't cut too deep through the sheathing.

violet: Although I have had some issues, it seems like it works most of the time. It's hard to use if you have to go back and forth on sizes of cable. I thought I was doing something wrong or it was defective in some way. I have mostly used klein, and they have been nothing but trouble. What I don't like on this is the red plastic button. It seems useless, but necessary if you know what I mean. They should come up with something better to adjust it with.

C BrownC Brown: Product was defective and poorly assembled. Tool does not work with 1/2" BX and a steel pin that holds the 2 halves of the assembly together at the pivot point was to short. See picture

JB: It's nice to cut NM wire square in the box but it doesn't feel quite the same quality of the Klein NM side cutters. That being said if you have OCD about your cuts, this tool is handy.

Amazon Customer: Well built made in the USA.
Easy to use and you can control depth of cut.
You will have to adjust the depth of the cutter as I found mine cut a little to deep.
I would have liked to have seen a lock nut on the depth adjustment to lock it into place after adjustment.
I recommend that you test and adjust you Roto- Flex on scrap cable prior to putting it to work.
The reason I did not give it 5 out of 5 was because I would have liked to have seen a lock nut on the depth adjustment and the instructions were missing.
