Lisa Vande Wiel: Not that great of a boot. Not very warm at all in cold canadian winter. I have to wear two pairs of socks to feel warm. Okay traction but not fantastic. Super annoying to take on and off. You have to sit down and lace them up each time. I've already ripped the side strap on both feet from trying to pull them on without completely unlacing them every time (not even being that rough with them) after only about a dozen wears.

Mariana: Loved the boots, they are light, comfortable and just tested them in the snow and they seemed very warm. True, I didn’t walked that much but they seem to be exactly what I expected. And based on previous reviews I ordered size 10 (my size is 9,5) and so glad I did. I could even say that to wear the boots with a thicker sock it should’ve been a 10,5. But since I plan to wear with regular socks, 10 was fine. Overall I’m very satisfied.

Soraya: I'm a true 7.5 with slightly narrow feet. Based on other reviews, I first tried these boots in an 8 wearing my thickest socks. My toes were rubbing the inside of the shoe so I returned them and sized up to an 8.5. When I first tried them on, I was pleased that my toes had just the right amount of room. However, it wasn't until I wore them for the first time that I realized how freaking wide they were. My first are a slightly narrow, but it's usually not an issue unless a shoe runs wide to begin with. Maybe if I had 6-7 toes on each foot they would've fit a bit better. This width of this shoe isn't a huge deal, but it did make it a little uncomfortable for me to wear all day while walking for extended periods of time (as I did while I was wearing them for the first time on a trip to Iceland). Overall, though, they kept my feet warm and dry so I can't complain too much! Just make sure you size up a WHOLE shoe size.

nomayyynomayyy: I normally wear a size 6.5-7, but I purchased a 7.5 after reading the other reviews. The 7.5 fits perfectly! I may have even been able to fit a size 8, if I were to wear thick socks or two layers of socks.
I haven't worn the boots out during the winter yet since it's still summer, nonetheless I tried them on in the house and they made my feet very warm instantly and fit comfortably. They are also a cute look with the small heel! I look forward to having these Sorel boots to wear this winter :).
An update - I've worn them in the snow and they keep my feet warm 👍

SJBourgSJBourg: After trying on similar Sorel boots in-store & reading reviews, I sized-up when purchasing these boots (I’m typically size 8.5, but purchased 9.5). I am so glad I did! They fit perfectly & the interior does not rub against my toes like other boots do. These Sorels not only feel great, but look prettier (not as chunky & “clunky”) than other Sorel models...
I am also pleasantly surprised with how warm these boots are! With the recent drop in temperature (-21 deg. C with the wind chill) I wanted to test them out. My feet were still warm (almost hot, but I’m usually warmer than most) during the walk to/from my kids’ school!
Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase of these Sorels!

Kindle CustomerKindle Customer: LOVE THESE. They are so warm, so comfy, and stylish. Based on the reviews, I was debating between going back and forth with a 6.5 and a 7. I'm normally either a 6 or 6.5 and the reviews kept saying to go up either half or a full size. I decided on the 6.5 which you can say is true to my size and kept my fingers crossed. Lo and behold, I got them and they fit perfectly with maybe even half an inch of toe room left in the front! I wore regular socks with them and had a little wiggle room but with thicker, wool socks... they were perfectly snug. The toe area was actually pretty roomy and little wider than I thought. The mouth of the boot is narrow and unless you loosen up the laces really well, I can see how it can be difficult to get your foot in there if you have wider/bigger feet, but with my smaller feet, I didn't see this an issue and I was actually able to slip these boots on and off with regular socks. No issues with the insert coming out for me. The inside is a super plush, almost silky, soft, warm, fleece lining. If you have smaller feet and are sized a 7.5 and below then you can get away with your true size, but if you've got bigger or wider feet - maybe half a size up is...

sha81: I initially ordered based off their size chart, my foot is 24.13 CM which is basically an 8. I normally wear a 9 in boots and in some boots, 9.5. Sneakers and other shoes 8.5. Based on their size chart, if you wear a solid 8.5, go up to 9.5, even a 10 for thicker socks. My first order that I returned was an 8.5 because based on their size chart, I would have been a 7.5. I should've listened to my gut and knowing what I normally wear, an 8.5 never fits me in a boot. IT WAS SO SMALL!!! I returned them, ordered a 9.5, which is 2 full sizes above their size chart, that fits and it's okay, but I could've gotten a 10 and been fine. These boots are so small, the smallest boot I've ever encountered. If you are an 8 or 830 normally, order a 9.5, even a 10 if you plan on wearing thicker boot/ wool socks with them. Trust me, they are small and you will need at least 2 full sizes larger than your normal. Otherwise, they are pretty comfortable, haven't worn them outside yet so I don't know how durable or warm they are but I can update that later. Just wanted to let everyone know about the sizing discrepancy. Trust me, listen to me and order up 2 sizes from your normal if you go based on this...

Carolyn H.: UPDATE: After almost a year of having these boots, they have gotten me through one winter and one trip to Iceland. I intend to take these on my return trip to Iceland in about 6 weeks actually. I'm still so much in love with these boots, really. They're flattering and have a flexible upper half that doesn't make your ankle feel restricted with movement. The soft fleece lining is wonderful too. My ONLY complaint is that with the tiny heel it has (which looks flattering and gives a little lift in the back) can put a little bit of extra strain on your calves. I found this out after doing a TON of walking/hiking about Iceland for days on end. Despite that, they're still super comfortable boots. They hold up well to the elements, maybe aren't quite as warm as I expected to be honest but I'm thinking of ordering a second pair in black half a size up and getting those fluffy wool liner inserts to give a little extra warmth. It was just around my toe area that I wish it had been warmer but then again maybe I need better wool socks. I have ordered numerous pairs of boots to try on since purchasing these to find a backup pair but nothing has come close.

JennJenn: First pair I ordered were a little small, so went up a half size. Much better fit, however, boots arrived with one missing lace. Tried to re-order, but not giving me the option. Only a refund option. Disappointed, would like to have Sorel quality laces for the price I paid for these boots!!
