Sorel Women's Tofino II Waterproof Insulated Winter Boots - Keep Your Feet Warm and Dry in Cold Weather

curt chesness: I have never found a winter boot that I love. I have had surgeries on my feet and struggle to find comfort. My daughter had a pair of these and forgot them at my house. Well, I had to try them out. I wore them for a week, in the house and outside. I felt like I was walking on a cloud. So I had to purchase a pair. I have had them for a year now and still love them. Even in the summer, if my feet hurt I put them on. I waited a year to write this review because I wanted to know for myself as well if the bouncy support would last. So far they have and trust me... I wear them all the time. sometimes just as slippers.
They are super warm, my feet have never sweat in them even when I wear them in the house. When I walk the dog in negative temps, the only thing not cold is my feet!
As far as sizing I ordered the size 8. Which, I normally am but sometimes you have the shoe that has to be 8.5. so the size was spot on!
The best thing I have ever had on my feet which are internally webbed with scar tissue.

Ali Conyers: I don't think these are true Sorel manufactured boots. I would highly recommend buying them from Sorel online or another retailer. I got these about a month ago for my birthday and I have worn them a few times and noticed my right foot would be colder than the other. I went out into about a foot of snow yesterday to test them out and after walking around for about an hour and my right foot was SOAKED. There is some flaw in the right foot that leaked in snow/water.

Buy them somewhere else cuz other than that they are so cute, comfy and warm otherwise.

SuZuz22: Bought these boots because of the reputation that Sorel has for extreme cold/snow AND how cute they were, in preparation for a trip to Colorado. While we were there, temps ranged from -15 to 35 degrees farenheit but these boots never kept my feet warm, despite two pairs of Smartwool socks. I could feel the cold coming through the soles of the boots. I was never out in them for more than 1/2 hour or so. Extremely disappointed. NOTHING like what Sorel is known for. It seems that there is very little to no insulation in them. Put your money toward another high end boot.

lmag: They are super cute, lightweight and easy to put on. Unfortunately not nearly as warm as I expected. Also after less then a week of wearing only casually and not in water or extream weather the black string (which never got wet) bled onto the fabrics of the boots, leaving stains. So I am disappointed to spend that much on non functioning boots to have them stained up with minimal use. I wouldnt spend that much on them again.

madrent: Got as a gift. Currently have North Face Nuptse boots, which are very flexible and fit like a very comfortable high top sneaker. I just wanted new boots and always liked the look of Sorel. I reviewed the Tofino vs Joan of Arctic ad saw the Tofino was rated better for comfort and more of a sneaker like fit. I received my exact shoe size in this boot (7.5) and the length is good. The calves seemed very wide and I felt they were very bulky to walk in. I was not sure about them but kept them on for an all day outside activity and I did get used to the fit quickly and found them to be warm and comfortable. I did not have the digging in the heel issue others had and I was wearing thin ankle socks. I would highly recommend, however they are not nearly as comfortable as The North Face boots. When I have those on I feel like I’m wearing super warm slippers.
