JR BlackJR Black: Im just a hobbyist and have various branded tools like Klein and Hist. I wanted the cheapest crimper I could find for ferrules since I rarely use those.

This crimper is heavy with a solid build precision build. Made quick work of the cables in the picture. It’s impossible to understand the quality at this price.

Now I’m going to use ferrules whenever I can. So much easier and the connections are strong.

Cheaper type distribution bus bars available too for low amp installations by using ground bars. That’s something I’m trying anyway.

stresstest: This is a pretty small set of crimpers. The "7 gauge" it says it has ferules for would be a tight press for 8 gauge. Over all though they suited my needs and worked flawlessly with the cable I was working with. The crimper is very sturdy and not likely to fail.
If you are working with 8 gauge and larger, look for a different set, this won't do it for you. If not, these are perfect and it comes with a ton of ferules.

Wizard: The crimping tool is very easy to use and, on the several size ferrules I have crimped, it makes evenly square slightly ribbed crimps. The ferrules are also color coded by gage. The individual compartments in the container of ferrules are each clearly marked with the wire gage size that the ferrules are for. I just started using ferrules for insertion wire terminations about a year ago and now use them for any and all wire insertion applications. They make the job neater, eliminate the possibility of stray wire strands getting outside the termination point, ends frayed or broken wires from removing and reinserting bare wire into termination points, etc, etc. The only improvement this ferrule set needs is to increase the size of the parts container so that the crimping tool can be stored in the container with the ferrules.

Mark Sears: This is the first time I've used ferrules, and this kit was an excellent introduction. The crimper is well made and easy to use. Wire fits easily into the ferrules and crimping is a breeze. I feel like I got a good value for my money. My only complaint would be that it comes with too many small ferrules and not enough larger ones, but that is true for most variety kits I have seen!

I have included pictures of the packaging with pertinent information and contact information.

The price for the tool and 1800 wire ferrules makes this a great buy.

This review is about the tool but since the product included 1800 wire ferrules that made this a good buy, for me, it should be mentioned the ferrules seem to be thin gauge metal.

Testing the tool without wire is not a suitable testing method other than determining if the device works as intended.

I’m waiting for an order of other ferrules and wire for my project and will update the review if necessary.
