Max: Good value for money. Works well and provides all common sizes in a compact format. Good for working in tight spaces. The downside is that the levers are rather short, so crimping 1" requires quite a bit of force.

I am renovating a bathroom and brought in a few plumbers to bid moving a bathtub drain and some plumbing lines. They quoted almost 3 grand, so I brought someone in for $600 to scan my post tension slab and identify exactly where the cables were (yes, a lot of money, but you don't want to hit a cable). Once they did, I decided to do it myself. So, about $900 in tools/materials and a rental jackhammer, I saved about $2K, and have some experience and tools to resolve future issues...
To the tool. I am used to quality tools per my woodworking hobby, so do tend to understand how they should react. I originally purchased the IWISS IWS-1234W thinking I had about 10 connections and I did not need a high end tool. It also received great reviews. Receiving the tool, I was quickly surprised. The box was smaller than anticipated and I immediately was concerned. It is the red one in the pics, and as you see barely larger than scissors for scale. I kept an open mind, and performed a test on scrap pipe and an extra connector. Sure enough, it was exceedingly difficult to crimp a 3/4" ring on PEX. I'm not a weak guy and do a lot of my work myself including...
