Sonic Alert SBP100: Portable, Loud, Vibrating Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers

Bucky: I own the larger Sonic alarm clock that has the bed shaker accessory and thought this would be nice for travel or overnights. It's a slick little clock that's super easy to use. It is rather loud and shakes well for such a little package. Hopefully it holds up overtime because quality travel clocks aren't all the easy to come by.

DEN: The sonic Alert is an ideal portable alarm, particularely for the hearing impaired.. It is small and light, battery powered, with a large digital display,, button-controlled display light, buzzer and vibrator alarm,, and easy controls for setting time and alarm. It has lanyard with clip and comes in a zippered, padded fabric case. A neat design at a modest price, durable and dependable. My recent purchase was for a gift. I have been a user for almost five years, a deaf person depending on the reliable Sonic Alert as an alarm and timer.

PattyT: I am very familiar with and like Sonic Alert products so I chose their travel alarm clock when I needed one. It was a good choice although I wish a couple of things were different. This round alarm clock comes with a nice zip around carry bag. It has a tough ribbon with a clip on it to attach it to a pillow case or wherever you set it. That's a good idea so it doesn't get lost or drop out of bed when you're asleep.

This unit takes two AA batteries and one AAA one which are included. The smaller battery is for the light on the display and the others are for the alarm. Setting the time and alarm are very simple. No instructions needed. You can choose to wake up by a buzzing/alarm sound, a strong vibration, or both. I am hearing impaired and can't even hear the alarm but I sure can feel the vibration! It's very strong. I love that this clock allows me to infinitely hit the snooze button. I hate when an alarm gives me just one or two chances then stops alerting me to wake up. I usually just fall back to sleep. This one goes until you manually turn the clock off.

All that is great and it works wonderfully. It work me up several times with a vibration...

C. E. Carter: This is a very small product with a massive vibration. It is very well designed and it is easy to set the alarm. It can be used as a bedside clock as well as being folded down to make a disc that sits under the pillow and clips on to the pillowcase for security. The vibration from such a small device is amazing and will wake you even if the disc gets dislodged from its normal position. Very good value

joanna: I am glad I bought this, I wanted to stop using my cell phone as an alarm so I could charge it at night in another room away from me. Vibration is strong, I don't use the sounding alarm because my hubby sleeps beside me and I'm an early riser. There is a clip feature so it can be attached to something like a bed sheet or pillow case, I clip this alarm to the inside of my pillow case so i feel the vibrations and can turn the alarm off but it stays put in the case so I don't lose it or have it fall off under the bed.
