I have a few watches and wanted to store them in a nice place instead of just leaving them on my nightable. This box is so nice and clean. The redwood look shines really nicely giving it an elegant and high-class feel The glass is also clear and shows the inside of the box clearly. If you don't like shiny don't get this box because there is a shine - which I like. Closing the box handle is also well built, doesn't stick, and feels nice opening and locking. If there is one con is that there are fingerprint remnants due to the shiny finish. have a few $1-2K Tissot and Longines watches so I wanted to put them in a nice box without spending $100+ on a box... I would highly recommend this box to anyone who is looking for an elegant-looking watch box on a budget

Kyle & EmilyKyle & Emily: Was looking for an affordable watch box that would fit at least 5 watches. The box did come with a small scratch out of the box but for the price, I'm not bothered. I would not recommend this product if you have watches larger than 43mm as they have the potential of rubbing up against the watch next to it. The divider walls do sometimes move out of place but can be put back easily enough. The watch pillows are quite cheap but give enough play to fit someone with a 6.75" wrist size and not stretch your bands. They have some type of cardboard inner core so they're not just a cushion. Like I said for the money I think this is perfect and looks like it should cost more.

No doubt this product looks great in the pictures, but how many times have you had the actual product disappoint you when you finally get it in your hands? Don't worry about this one- it's even better than it looks. The quality is just so good you'll wonder how the heck can they do it at this price point. But they did, and it's one purchase you'll never regret. And it's definitely an upgrade from the way I have been storing my watches (on a paint roller, lol).

Don't think twice- just buy this, or two while you're at it. I'll probably be getting another one just so I can buy more watches (but don't tell my wife).

Adam F.: To start, I never write review, but I felt compelled because I was more than pleased with this product! Based on the reviews, I was expecting something cheap and chipped, and was already resigned to return it and buy one for twice the price. The color is much darker, than I expected, which was a welcome surprise. Solid construction and looks good. Also, to people who give one star reviews because a product comes damaged, return it, for free, and review a final product.

The only issue is that the watch pillows have plate inserts on two sides to maintain shape. This is an issue if you have smaller wrists and with certain watch clasps, as you can't close the watch around the pillow because the pillow will not give enough. *I just snapped the inserts, with some effort, and though the pillow doesn't look perfect, it is not noticeable when the box is closed, and looks fine when it is open. I just know it's there. The $18 price tag makes this. Great value for a good product. Everywhere else I looked would sell this for $50-$100.

Adam Pilbeam: I am getting into watches, and purchased my first 'expensive' watch - an Orient Star. I wanted a safe place to keep it, along with a much cheaper digital I keep for working outside. This box seemed to fit the bill.

The box itself is sturdy and well constructed, with some weight to it. It comes with a cleaning cloth, which I thought was a nice touch. My watches fit well on the pillows and I feel absolutely comfortable with them sitting in the box, which I keep in my dresser for now.

My only complaint is that the metal front clasp is a little stiff to release. The lack of a lock may also be a concern to some people (for those who have much more expensive watches than I!), but then if you can afford those watches then the cost of the watch box is probably not a concern. As it is, this is an excellent box for the price and I am confident it will serve me as I pick up a couple more watches over time.
