Gary Gilhaus: Centenary UMC: Excellent & inexpensive way to lockdown inside doors in the event of an active shooter situation, perfect for our application. Installer: Make sure the small setscrew that holds the spring is tightened down. I almost lost a setscrew on one of the locks during installation. The locks can be used to secure doors that swing in or out. Our doors swing out, but I recommend purchasing heavier slidelocks for doors that swing in.

M. Clare: Absolute junk. Hinges are different shades and the screws are made of butter. The head broke off one of the screws. Do not buy as expensive rubbish.

LegoGirl: Good bolt with smooth action. It's nice to have both options for the catch, I used the thinner one on the inner surface of the door jamb since this bolt is on a double-swinging door that needs to be "centered" in the door frame. There is a half-inch of bolt exposed when it's extended fully.
