Biker ray: Awesome, I have a Patriots Mancave banner, hanging in my man cave, and my old hunter Douglas couldn’t make it even begin to move with its three speeds, this fan has that thing moving like the wind is blowing directly in the window, it seems to be a very awesome fan for the price and I went to the company because of the reviews. If anything changes, I will let you know.

Devon W. SwihartDevon W. Swihart: It is easy to install but there is a slight gap between the blades where they mount on the motor. The pieces fit together like a three piece pie and the gaps are not even - pre-drilled so there is no adjustment. That being said, it is a beautiful fan, (we chose the white motor and natural 3 blade model) mainly because the blades are not like all the other fans out there. The main dislike is with the remote on a switched setup. If you have a switch, ours is on a four-way switch which makes it more complicated, you can't just turn on the switch and turn on the fan. You have to make sure the switch is on (with four-way or three-way switches, some are positioned and up some are down when on/off) then you must use the remote to turn on the fan - it doesn't remember that you had the fan on. I haven't tried it but I would assume that you can remove the remote box that you wire in during installation and just use the switch. Since our's doesn't have a light that would work for us. Overall I would for sure buy this again and yes I did recommend this fan to a family member - it is a great style and super quiet.

RojitoRojito: Love this fan. Knocked off one star related to installation. The remote control receiver unit that is housed in the larger cylinder near the ceiling is almost too large to fit. Had to adjust it a few times to get the housing to remain round. Great otherwise.

Made a couple of cosmetic changes. Spray painted the black metal parts a coordinating brown, and removed the not-so-decorative vertical bolts around the motor housing.

DennisDennis: My original fan went out in my Master BR - 12x17 ft room. I purchased this fan because I wanted one that could move a volume of air, had a remote, and a DC motor so I could reverse it in the different seasons without involving a ladder. My original was a 52" , 5-blade fan. I was hopeful that this 3-blade 60" fan with 6-Speeds would be a nice replacement. Install was fairly straight forward with easy to follow instructions. DC motor is almost silent really with only the noise from moving air at the top speeds. Love the 3 temperatures of lighting and 4 stages of brightness on each. With the lights out, I still had a slight glow to the light even though it was off. I contacted Customer Service and they recommended that I replace my 3 metal screws that hold the LED panel with nylon ones to correct this issue. I purchased 3 new ones along with nylon washers at ACE for about $0.40 and that fixed the problem. A+ for the fast reply and solution from the Service Department. Perhaps Sofucor should only ship nylon screws for the LED in the future to avoid any issues altogether. Overall the product absolutely meets all my expectation. This is a light wgt fan with strong air movement. Easy to put up and looks great. Follow the instructions in the video above as the pictures in the book are hard to see details since they are so dark.

Like others have mentioned when you install the LED kit the lights go into shall we call it phantom night light mode even when off. Not everyone may even notice this but I don't like my fan light glowing even slightly in a dark room, when the light is off This is due to the metal backing plate of the LED unit acting as a ground to the fan body. The screw heads for mounting the light fixture can also contribute to this. I put plastidip on the screw heads and on the bottom metal plate. Plastidip is great because after it dries it can just be pealed off if needed. For extra protection I put isolation washers (those fibrous ones that came on old time computer screw mounts.) on the screws for mounting the led plate.

Problem solved- but I wish Sofucor would have caught this and came up with a solution packed in...
