Marguerite: I didn't try out the remote control or timer because i leave it on 24/7. I love it and it looks like a real candle. I wish they had different sizes... i would get a smaller one as well and that one i would use the timer. A great product. Thanks for it.

Pam Florio: Love this brand. Reliable and nice flame and options. Prefer to the much more expensive moving flame candle. This flame does not move but it flickers and it is dimensional rather than flat. All around ++ Went back for a second. These have the other brand beat! Only wish they came in colors but i have made fabric and paper sleeves to go around the candle for different holidays if i don't want plain ivory. Can't recommend these enough!

It ran for over 54 hours straight (I turned it on before I went to bed). It is well made and looks nice. I was able to add the water slide to it with no issues. The size was great for what I needed.

braun5891braun5891: So the candle is lovely and quite hearty in some ways...but it cannot handle being in a lantern outside. Within 2 days it melted into this...ironically it still functions despite the melt down and getting wet. So it is sturdy in that regard. The meltdown was my fault for putting it outside in a lantern with glass sides so I still give it 4 stars, but please save yourself the grief and waste of money by keeping it indoors or at the very least out of the sun. Maybe it would have worked better with a more ventilated lantern. I do find it a bit pricey at $35 for 1 candle, but it does has marvelous glow and looks very realistic compared to most battery operated candles I've seen. I really like the different settings for brightness and flicker, and the timer settings are handy. Noticed the remote doesn't work if you are standing further than 6 feet from the candle. This is not a big deal for me but if you are searching for this feature just be aware of its limitations.
