When we need to have the truck bed open, it's easy to roll the cover up towards the cab and fasten it there. Thanks to this truck bed cover, our family's groceries, sporting equipment and other items stay dry and safely contained in the truck bed. We don't often have much room for things inside the truck cab, as it seats six and we are a family of six. A good quality truck bed cover is a must-have for us, and we're glad we chose this one.

JasonJason: I had a truxedo cover on my old truck (that was on it when I bought it used). It worked very well and I've never had a problem with leaks. It held up perfectly, was always tight, easy to cover, uncover and clean. So I bought a new one for my next truck. I got the TruXSport and put it on a Dodge Ram 2500. It couldn't be easier to install. It took all of 20 minutes. If it doesn't leak and holds out just like the last one, I'll be happy. The cover material is just as thick and seemingly durable as the one on my old truck. For the money, quality ease of use and price, it's a great cover.

Nick MarchesielloNick Marchesiello: I bought this for my truck (in the headline). I installed in about 30 minutes. Doesn't require another set of hands. Make sure that you have everything measured out/spaced out evenly so you get uniform coverage. My truck is the bare bed with no bed rails so I was surprised that I saw a little bit of daylight coming through from under the seal on the front of the bed (see photos). Also I'm not sold on the rear seal. It just seems thin to me and doesn't provide a tight seal to the tailgate. Haven't had rain yet so jury is out if these little gaps let in any water but it'll let a lot less in than not having it. 4 stars only because I can see daylight, otherwise it feels like good sturdy material and is well made. Can't go wrong

Oh Well: I have a 2004.5 Dodge 1 ton. When I bought the truck in 2004 I installed the same Truxedo Tonneau cover and it lasted 10 years. I roll up the cover at least once a week when I go to the feed store.The Velcro finally became weak and a strong wind caused the cover to break loose and shred. On the old cover my wife always complained about the release tabs and how she didn't have the strength to push in the buttons. The new cover has an improved release which she says is really easy for her to push down and release the cover. The Dodge seems to have a box that tapers from the front to the back and the cover really doesn't cover the stake pockets completely. On the old cover I just used some silicone to fill in in order to make it water tight. This time I bought the stake pocket covers, you have to buy two packs, but the plastic covers are poorly designed and break easily. I have a spray on bed liner which makes the pocket really tight so I broke the mounting tabs on three of them. The solution was to silicone them in and then place the tonneau cover rails over the top. Darrell Nash: Installed on my '05 Dodge Ram. Ordered this one specifically because it goes over the bed rails. Needed the extra clearance for my tool chest and 5th wheel hitch. Very easy install and rolls up and extends easily as well. Great design for those who need a bed cover from time to time but need the ability to get it out of the way for towing and such. Only complaint so far is the velcro straps that hold it in place when rolled up seem backwards to me. Pretty minor issue and they do hold the cover in place while rolled up. I have only had the cover for a few months so no info on durability. Overall a good unit for a good price.

I have had the cover on my pick up for 4+ years now and it has held up quite well. It still velcros down on the sides well and the latches still work great also. It also does a great job of keeping the inside of the bed dry even during heavy rain. My only complaint is that it is kind of hard to get clean. It seems to really hold onto the dirt from driving in a dirty snow storm.
