Wes Thompson: Purchased these in 1/2” overlay without understanding how to determine what I needed. They were reasonably priced and very sturdy for the price, but incorrect size. The return would have meant paying shipping charges to Vegas so I didn’t bother. The price for the correct size was exactly the same. Make sure you understand how to determine what you need unlike me.

Kong: Decided to convert to soft close since some folks in the house like to slam doors. It was an easy swap with a perfect drop in.
Hopefully they’ll hold up to the abuse of children in the long run. We’ll see!

T. Summers: I bought the four pack of the 1/2 inch soft close hinges hoping that they would directly replace the non-soft close ones (which were stamped 7/16) that came on the base (contractor-grade) vanity cabinet. Turns out the new ones replaced the old ones perfectly. No more banging of bathroom vanity cabinet doors. And no one will be the wiser. Our visitors will assume that we upgraded this cabinet when we had the house built (how vain)! In addition, now there will never be a need to replace it with a more expensive one!

Vitali: Picked this up as I'm placing some drawers in one of our kitchen cabinets and wanted something soft closing but at the same time something that won't take up a lot of space.
The soft closing mechanism is fairly weak - it does work, but won't catch a door that's closed fairly quickly.
Installation is also a little difficult due to the weird claws - you basically have to pre-drill 5 holes (1 for the screw and 4 for the little claws). I guess these are to improve holding strength, but they make the installation difficult.

Steve ColcloughSteve Colclough: Seem to be of high quality material. I replaced all hinges in the kitchen with these and they work great. The soft close feature is really nice. I’m glad I made the switch. Nearly a year later each hinge feels as solid and smooth as the first day they were installed.

Sam: The product is exactly as described and bang for buck is terrific. However, I would recommend not buying these hinges due to an item I overlooked in their design. They only have 1 screw that hooks to the cabinet itself and its a lot of pressure one 1 screw per hinge. I have installed these and am confident that within a year I will end up having to replace with hinges that have a double screw support on the inside of the cabinet.
So, they are exactly what they say they are but I am overall disappointed with the design which is my fault for jumping so quick at the awesome price vs the function of the product.
