Jeanne222: This book was very well written and included imaginative and humorous content. Grabs the imagination and as usual transports the reader into the tapestry of the story, hard to put down

ciara: A page turning trip, you really feel you are walking along a country lane with Graham sharing his poignant moments and gasping at his rags to riches tale, which he has painstakingly narrated especially for you

WorcesterBlue: This is the 2nd Graham Norton biography I have read having previously enjoyed a more updated one on his later escapades. A very frank biography that really does cover warts and all, includes his gay abandonment with little known would be lovers.
I do like the way Graham Norton writes and have enjoyed the two novels he wrote which are surprisingly very good. This book is entertaining and easy to dip in and out of, no real secrets told but good fun all the same. The book is written as you would imagine Graham telling it and not by some ghost writer that he hardly knows. I only gave it 3 stars but I enjoyed reading a lot more than that and feel a little mean. This is an entertaining read with fun stories rather than a child to star life story.

Celia Lynch Turner: I've just finished this book. It was a good read. Of course I've watched a hundred GN programmes. I try to watch every week. He's managed to acquire some amazing guests. I'm particularly amused by American guests who can't quite believe what they've walked into. He gave some great descriptions in his book. Can you really say that on tv? How they don't quite know how to take him. Of course it's the Irish sense of humour too that quite shocks them.
Goodness, he did a really good account of his earlier life. The hardship and sense of trying to fit in. It could have ended horrifically.
He really was in the right place at the right time and managed to build up his fabulous career. I'd really like to know if he's happy. I hope so.

readingbynumbers: Graham, thank you for telling your story and for telling it with such understated charm. I'm a bit younger than you, born in Glasgow, raised Brethren and came out a few years ago. So why is it that I felt a connection to your very different story? The way you tell it and the person you describe - I think that's it. Either that, or it's the common loves we seem to share. Booze and friends. As Groucho said. Thank you for your book. It made me laugh from the time I picked it up, to the time I put it down. One day, I might even read it!

Stromlo Van Pelt: Interesting until about half way through, then it all seems to be far to much "me, me,me". Yes, l know it's all about Graham, but it was way to much about how fab Graham thinks he is and why everybody else should too. The story of what makes someone who they are is usually fascinating, but Graham is a wee bit to self absorbed for me.

Sascot: Nobody as engaging as GN could possibly write a boring autobio and neither has he. If you are going to be irritated by his name dropping, then rather buy a bio of a neurosurgeon. If you watch GN's show, you will know not to expect a literary marvel but more of the same and he delivers up in spades. This is an extraordinarily candid memoir, not at an intellectual level but certainly on the personal front. Written I think in 2004, no doubt there is even more to come, in which I would like to think that he has found his man who can be there for him. Great entertainment but then not perhaps unexpected; after all, he is a great entertainer.

Kindle Customer: Graham is honest in his accounts of all the events in his full life. He is true to self in his approach to his readers as he was to his friends and acquaintances. I have never enjoyed a biography so much as this one. I laughed throughout and the moments in time that are meant to be poignant failed to make me pity them. I giggled my way through the book and found it difficult to put down, in fact sheer annoyance for me to do so.

I want Graham Norton to live a long life so he will tell his fans more about his interesting life. He has the magical ability to make the reader feel they know him.

Louise Montanari: Love Graham Nortons book 'So Me'. Full of humour, At times I just laughed out loud.
The book starts right from the begining and is an easy read full of intrigue, love, humour, tears and happiness. Everything that makes a 'life' go round.
How Graham from sheer tenacity and hard work got where he is today. I take my hat off to him. Its a thrill to watch his shows. Keep it up Graham. Louise Montanari South Africa
