Northern Timber: I have the balm and oil in this scent. I prefer the balm as it’s easier to dispense and apply.

Amazon Customer: I have used dozens of different beard butters and balms at price points all over the map and I will say this product is one of the best I have used. I have a full silver and black beard and this stuff leaves it shiny and soft all day. The scent is very pleasant IMO but a little goes a long way. Highly recommended and will be recording.

Gloria: I got this for my husband and he loves it. I know because he started using it right away and has been regularly for about two weeks now. He likes the smell, the feel, and says a nice thing about it is that if you accidentally get a little in your mouth it doesn’t taste weird or gross. Good ingredients, good mix. I like the smell too. It’s not too strong but strong enough to smell when you get close. :)

Erad: I usually use the beardbrand balms which I really like, but they stopped shipping to my location so I had to look for an alternative. Detroit Grooming certainly surprised me, these are high quality natural balms, they're smoother than other balms and have great scents which might be strong when you first apply them but they softly fade out throughout the day.
Compared to beardbrand or other balms I used, these ones have a little less hold on my beard but it still works for me.
I highly recommend those balms, really love them.

Edwin C: I have another DGC butter review for Belle Isle so this one will be more about the scent. The scent behaves like a cologne in terms of how it develops. Starts off with a almost sour cherry and cream scent and as you rub it in your palm the cherries become a bit sweet and when you put it in your beard it mellows out. Mature scent in a positive way.
