jamie fergus: I’ve tried a lot of different beard companies butters and none of them compare to Detroit Grooming. I have bought 4 scents so far (Leland, Belle Isle, Traverse and Corktown) every one is great. But the Leland is my absolute favourite for Summer. Makes my beard very soft.

BenjaminBenjamin: Legit my favorite butter. After my evening shower I use beard oil. Then about 30 minutes before bed, I use this beard butter. It goes on so smoothly. Not too greasy. My beard loves this and absorbs it right up as I sleep leaving me a healthy beard in the morning!! I’d recommend this 10 times and then some! Scent is quite subjective...but I’ve always had a thing for lime (my natural deodorant is lime-scented) and this doesn’t disappoint! Not too strong to where it overwhelms. My wife loves it too! Definitely adding this butter to my repertoire!!

M. Nabulsi: I had purchased a beard oil from Detroit Grooming and utterly hated it so when everyone was raving about their butters, I thought I’d give the company one last try .... I am so so positively impressed!

This was a totally different and opposite experience!
- the scent is beyond awesome and so so soothing.
- the texture of the butter is amazing and it does wonders to the beard
- it’s not overly oily or uncomfortable and it’s so nourishing for the beard!!

I love this and will keep this in my regular rotation & explore the other scents surely !

S. Davis: I'm new to growing a beard and heard about this stuff on BeardTube. Knowing nothing about growing or grooming a beard I started my journey with oils but have decided that butters are a nice mix between oils and balms. This has nice hold without being too stiff.

Too many of the fragrances I have tried are like cologne with most of the scents I've smelled before. This one is very different. It smells exactly what you'd think mango + lime would smell like, but it's not too sweet or overpowering.

I don't want to smell like I just doused myself with Hai Karate or Old Spice. I want the fragrance to be subtle and this fits the bill.

I should add that this is a very original scent, unlike anything else I've bought so you might go for a smaller jar to start out with to make sure you like the scent.

This is a definite add to my growing arsenal of beard products.
