Reviewer MHM 3-5: I have a few knives, this one just flicks open and locks so easily. It's such a pleasant weight, looks good, feels good. Unlike my Gerber and a different Smith & Wesson knife, it doesn't have a safety switch preventing the blade from opening, but that's small criticism for such a basic and nice knife to use.

keith: This knife is dope. BUT it is so so hard to open. I’m a millworker and I’d like to believe I’m fairly strong…strong enough to flip open a blade. As I do all my other blades. This knife was almost impossible to flip open because the little ball that keeps the blade shut is more like a pin. Unfortunately the screw at the top of the handle just spins so you can’t take it apart to fix it urself. I ended up taking the bottom screws out, flaring it open and taking a dremel to the ball. Took some doing but I was able to get little grinding wheel in there and now if flips open like a dream and still retains tension. So. Unless u wanna DIY this knife to work properly..don’t buy it.

CliftonClowers: The quality of materials and assembly of this knife are far beyond its price. I was really surprised once I removed it from packaging and flipped out the blade. The movement is precise, no wiggle, and with a reassuring click telling you the blade is safely locked.
Handle: The handle has a great texture; non-slip, attractive and apparently very tough. You couldn’t ask for beter.
Blade: As pictured, the blade is characteristically Tanto with sharp lines and hollow ground on both sides to a polished edge. The stainless steel seems of sound quality and speaks of quality, The blade arrived semi-sharp so I spent about a half hour with it and my Wicked Edge machine. When finished and stropped, the hair on my arm just popped off as the blade moved over my arm. And because the cutting edge apex is straight along the entire length of the blade, it’s easy to occasionally give the knife a quick strop to maintain its crazy edge!
I have SEVERAL daily carry knives but this one is hands-down the easiest to carry and now my favorite to proudly use.
