Annie Oakley: Mr. Tom loves his new toy. The chirping is annoying to humans. Rather than a simple squeak, this toy makes 12 whistles for each time the cat bats it. He is enthralled! We let him play with it when we're gone or working outdoors but put it away when we're tired of the noise. For some reason this cat likes to tear up fuzzy toys with his teeth and the last squeaky mouse lasted only a week. This one lasted a month before he tore a hole big enough to start pulling out stuffing. I stitched it up and hoping it lasts another month. I can feel the noise maker inside and it is large enough I'm not concerned about him swallowing it when he eventually gets it out.

Magoo’s Views: My cat usually doesn’t usually play with toys, so I was surprised to see him playing with this one on his own. I was also pleasantly surprised that the chirping wasn’t annoyingly loud!

In My Opinion: My kitty boy loves his hummingbird. He loves the texture of the body, the cheerful tweets, and the fluffy feathers. He proudly carries it around and bats it all over the house until he loses it in some hidey hole or another in the house, and then I have to give him a replacement. I always make sure we have a backup on hand.

susan: Hi, I bought one of these before and Ive got a funny story to tell about it!
I bought one of the Smarty cat toys many months ago and of course, the cats ALL loved it. Well, the he older set of cats ( but he was an outside cat ) saw it and grabbed it and ran outside with it he loved it so much he wanted it all to himself. I couldn't catch him and I didn't know where the toy was so I gave up looking for it. Several months went by, rain, weather, the toy was outside. Another set of kittens were born and the kitten who took the toy had a nephew who, the first day I let them out to play on the patio came right back in the house with the Smarty cat toy! Ha! Hahhh!! All those months outside in the weather and the toy still tweeted! Well, the next generation is still wearing out this same Smarty cat toy! I had bought another one in the mean time. It has a different tweet, but they love both of them. Get your cat one of these. They'll love it and it lasts a looong
time- even through months of outside weather!

maidoftheloch: My cat prefers to hide this toy in a large paper bag and, from time to time, pounce on it and get excited by the chattering noises it makes Occasionally she'll pick it up and give it a bit of a kicking. Not her favourite toy, but one that she enjoys from time to time.
