Kathleen: So when Amazon was out of stock on the medium chicken SmartBones chews (4 pack), I opted for these thinking I could give my lab/shepherd mix a couple of these at a time as a substitute. He LOVES the medium bones - they are his favorite treat. However, when I offered him these, he seemed confused and uninterested. They had a little different smell, but I'm not sure what the turn off was for him. Maybe the size and texture since there is no wide tubular area he can lock his teeth around. So maybe it's a mouthfeel issue? Anyway, I won't sub these in again for the medium chews, but still happy with SmartBones overall.

Marie: I have purchased Smartbones so many times now, I have never seen a dog refuse a Smartbone. It takes my dogs a maximum of 5 minutes to eat one, so they are not a long lasting treat, but apparently they are delicious, lol. Also, I think it's worth mentioning they are made in China, which I am disappointed about. Other than that, they smell great and don't make a mess. Your dogs will love these treats, so you better buy the biggest bag! There are different flavours, but chicken is the winner. :D
