Sarah: I read all of the reviews before purchasing and should have listened when I read many reviews say this thing isn’t accurate. I tested it on myself 4 times, and it never gave the same reading or even within 1 degree of the previous reading. It’s a great size, easy to use, love the forehead or ear option, but it’s just not reliable.

Joanna: Not sure what I was doing wrong. I'm back to revise my negative review. My husband go it working correctly. It is so quick and easy and seems accurate. Because of the past issues I was having I took temp with this then with the oral thermometer and both read the same. I'm a happy purchaser now.

Elann: The EasyEast Touchless Infrared Thermometer is simplistic and easy to use. One can get a temperature reading right out of the box. With further instructions (provided), there are cool features to increase utility.
I would say though that the temperature is off by 0.6-0.7 degrees (C or F). Pretty accurate, but not perfectly accurate. I don't think there is a perfect infrared thermometer out there. This is all in theory, as some people's normal body temperature read differently from person to person.
For less than $10, this is a great value. The quality for this price is unmatched when compared to $60-100 infrared thermometers. We needed a temperature reader for adults due to the pandemic, to be safe and cautious during these worrisome times.
The EasyEast Touchless infrared thermometer met our needs in a practical fashion and an excellent price to match.
