This organizer shelf does exactly what I needed. Everything is off the surface of my desk but easily accessible and neatly organized. The box was well packed with styrofoam. I found no damage to the pieces. The unit was easy to assemble and came with all the screws and a screwdriver. Each piece had a sticker to correspond to the instructions. But it wasn't the kind of sticker that seems like someone used superglue. They came off easily and left no residue. I recommend felt or something to cover the screws on the bottom. Just an extra measure of caution to protect other surfaces. There are no stickers to cover the screws so they are visible on the sides. Something to be mindful of if that's a problem for you. It is particle board but I'm pleased with the desktop unit. It fits the space and fulfills my need.

I knew the dimensions going in, but the heft and sturdiness of the unit was still unexpected. Simple assembly with some screws (screwdriver included) and clear instructions. It's one of the few nice-looking, low-cost desk organizers I found that accommodates larger books and binders. No unreasonable wobble once assembled; sturdy enough that I've entrusted it with some small, weighty plants.

This shelf unit is sturdy, easy to assemble (if you have half a brain), reasonably attractive (it's not Ethan Allen) and decent value for the money. The pieces are made from a very solid composite material, the holes are properly drilled and aligned, the instructions are clear and the provided screwdriver is adequate; but if you have a conventional Phillips head screwdriver of the proper size, I suggest you use that instead. Or you you could use a low torque cordless drill/driver - just be careful. When assembled the unit is easily capable of supporting rather heavy objects. But be aware of it's size, it's not large and some people may want to use two of these in a larger space. But for me, one was the perfect size for what I needed.

My son swore he did not want anything for his dorm desk but I bought it anyway. Now he says it was the best purchase. Large enough to hold his books and desk items, but small enough that it doesn't take up too much space. Was relatively easy to assemble and is very sturdy. Very pleased with this purchase.
