Cajun JJCajun JJ: I am a Cajun from South Louisiana and can safely say that I know a thing or two about Cajun food. Slap Ya Mama seasoning is the best ratio of salt, flavor, and spiciness. I use it in most things that I cook. I live in Vegas now and I haven't been able to find it in my local grocery stores so I bought it on Amazon. When I purchased this on Amazon, I did not read the description completely and thought I was buying the larger container and had a good chuckle when I saw the 4 oz bottle when it arrived.... but it is still 4 oz of Cajun deliciousness! I am including a pic of my homemade boudin balls seasoned with Slap Ya Mama...mmm mmm mmm!

Shane D: We all have the flavorful, savory spices that are our favorites - then we have the hot spices we blend for taste. This is not a significantly flavorful mix, but the heat is definitely there. I have both this and the regular one - which has much more flavor than heat (my preference). This is Excellent when mixed with other rubs or spices - which is how I've taken to using it. A person at work recommend this and I found that it's a good addition when you want to add heat, but not enough flavor on its own for my pallet.
